yeah farming on coh gets boring after a while, what are you farming for if your influ is near maxed oh like every character. form raids not reqular mobs.

Fire/fire brute better because it gets more dam output then ss would. Lvl'ing mine i farmed mobs 3 times higher and once firey embrace came along it was over. Set make it even more ubber.

fire/psi domi doesn't compare to a ss/fire brute for farming. firstly the PS doesn't do enough dmg to be fast. Secondly to get that kind of domi requires hundreds of millions of inf to make. SS/fire brutes are more secure and cheaper to make. Also faster.

You don't need a kin if you think about it.

Double Stacked Rage, Hasten, Fiery Embrace and massive amounts of fury. If you need a kin even then there is something seriously wrong

fire/psi is the way to go if u have at least half a billion to cram down ur dom's throat, brutes are ok at farming and dont need the sets to be decent so I'd say there's a trade off

Wow... The way my friend described this, I thought he'd be zoomin through like a Fire/Kin controller on the Family Farm. Also, a SS/Stone Brute or SS/Fire Brute could do this mish MUCH better.

You could do this with almost any dom, but fire/psi is best because fire has highest damage. Ice is more defensive but still possible.

Impressive. A friend and I did a Fire/Kin and Fire/Thorns combo for that map which was quite efficient. Were you rolling without the imps for the demonstration...or normally?

Either he doesn't have hasten.. or it isn't in his power tray. Can't imagine having perma hasten without being able to use some crushing impact sets.

Domination and Hasten are both perma on that build. Only thing is, with out all the IO's, you'll have to run it with a /kin. But once you have 'em, a /kin is no longer needed. It's a pretty nice build, if your on Libery check it out.

Hmmm....I call foul on the farm. Sure while Dom is up, any Dominator past 40 should be able to do that with Dom up. Is Dom perma? How do you fair outa Dom? Show me one of those two things.

Until I saw this, I didn't think there was a single character used for PL'ing/farming on the villain side. Usually, its a brute/corr combo doing it.

Ehh... it is now. But most people dont use it due the fact that all the IO's are around 200+ Mil. A regular farming team consists of some type of brute like a elec/stone brute + a /kin. But any brute works fine, thats just the most common. Also if a /therm is on the team it makes it a hell of a lot easier, due to the vengeance bug.
