Nissan used the same formula and stated that their upcoming Nissan Leaf will get an "equivalent" of 367 mpg, and it will be priced competitively with the Prius.
The consumer demographic interested in a "eco" cars can't afford the $40,000+ Chevy Volt.
Actually in real world numbers I read that it gets 57 mpg.
