you shouldn't criticize our goverment for the corruption, because right now, there's no such thing as corruption that plays a role in vietnam's development and economy. if that happens to be vice versa, then our economy shouldn't be considered as the second fastest economy in asia, which has helped alot for our country development. iam not an expert of politics nor economy, but it's a common thing to uderstand it.

lmao its not the first time the united states have tried to intervene in the politics of other countries. for example, in latin american countries, when the U.S. didn't like a certain leader, they would train latinos in military combat and arm them. these latino men would then form a resistance against the leader that the united states hated. often, these leaders were assassinated. so the united states were directly involved in such matters without being seen.

No! America ruined us! After Viet Minh beat France, there were supposed to be elections in South Vietnam to unite the country. Dwight D. @ASCKS it's true that many vietnamese are smart, some vietnamese in america even work for NASA. but the vietnamese goverment dont treat the smart ppl well. that's why most of them go abroad to work for other countries. for example, Ngo Bao Chau is only given an apartment by the goverment, while many communists have big houses and cars. i mean, WTF? he won a Field medal for Vietnam!
if we want to be like South Korea, there's gotta be some big political change.

Well,about freedom of religion,I don't see any religion suppression anymore,(I'm Catholic btw),we're free to do anything as long as we do not disrupt public order.Sure we have some issues concerning freedom of speech but it's now being improved.About gagging Nguyen Van Ly,it's individual act,not the government's policy,Nguyen Minh Triet even said that and the cop who gagged Ly will be punished.And the government is doing their best to improved the life of the people and root out corruption...

I did not like the way VN communist rules the country right after 1975, but I was surprise that how well they're doing now, even though, corruption everywhere, no freedom of speech, religion, news. VN future will only get better once the younger generation are in control (I hope). There is one thing I must say: "we forgive but not forget!" History lessons of what they did to the people of South VN (soldiers, people, religion icons, writers) must be remembered. It's a shame if we forget that.

Communism is a great idealogy, but dumb in practically. Until earth has unlimited resource, we will not have communism. As a matter of fact, animal beings that's included human are wired for individual survival (fittest survive) and compete for resource. This evolution built in is the exact opposite of the ideal of communism. What China has right now and before is not comunism. It is a capitalism with one party government.

even though iam not communist, i think vietnam is not a communist like they used to be. they are capital now. I dont see anything bad of them, except they dont have freedom of religions. i think that's all they need to work on, and as we from over seas, we need to forgive them for the past and move on to a brighter future. our goal is to help each other and develope our country to become richer, and stronger, instead of dividing our country, and we don't want that happens.:-)

But the name of this song is "Kien Giang minh dep lam". Its a folk song, that with no writer name indicated, but it must be called exactly. Sorry but Kien Giang is my homeland. So if possible, pls call the song with the right name as it should be.
