Brett Hull's goal was fine. The Stars were up 3 to 2 in that series, that game would have only tied the series and the Stars would have probably still won the cup. After all who went to the finals the very next year? Wasn't the Sabres it was the Stars. The Sabres were an 8th seed and got swept.

I will say Hull is a douche, and that's coming from a Stars fan. He has a massive ego, but he was a great player which is typical.

In his "golden years," yeah, he was a goal machine, but as he grew older, he rounded out his game a lot, and became a much more complete player.
