Rediculously dope. Crooked I wins off style points with the perfect spitfire style to match that beat. Plus, he had more lines, but that's mostly because he was using a quickfire style which makes me think these weren't the best verses to compare since Crooked is almost guaranteed a win if they are remotely close to being even (which they pretty much are.) I say their lyricism averages out about the same, but like I said: Crooked wins because of style.

Jay-Z has complex rhymes where he hits the off beats with slant rhymes and such, but Crooked I drops syllabic rhymes where nearly 2/3 of each bar will rhyme with each other. Crooked I's style makes him a better lyricist and freestyler overall when you throw in metaphors; however, Jay-Z's storytelling and conversational flow puts him up there with the greatest. Crooked I took this beat and raped it.

Rediculously dope. Crooked I wins off style points with the perfect spitfire style to match that beat. Plus, he had more lines, but that's mostly because he was using a quickfire style which makes me think these weren't the best verses to compare since Crooked is almost guaranteed a win if they are remotely close to being even (which they pretty much are.) I say their lyricism averages out about the same, but like I said: Crooked wins because of style.

ALRIGHT GUYS. They have two different rhyme styles. Jay-Z has complex rhymes where he hits the off beats with slant rhymes and such, but Crooked I drops syllabic rhymes where nearly 2/3 of each bar will rhyme with each other. Crooked I's style makes him a better lyricist and freestyler overall when you throw in metaphors; however, Jay-Z's storytelling and conversational flow puts him up there with the greatest. Crooked I took this beat and raped it.

Suge neva released a lot of crookeds stuff. the same thing with joell nd aftermath. aftermath nd joel deal didnt work out because rappers who were already signed to the label wouldve have had a hard time sellin records becuae joel is so ill everyone would buy his albums and not there. which would give them unwated compition within their own labe. When crooked was on death row the label was movin way more records than the Roc. U cant possibly say crooked has more skills than jay z, if he did, he wld have had a following outside of the west coast b4 having joined slaughterhouse.
