My parents did order me a replica of Ron's wand though. (I'm a redhead) I'm such a huge fan of the series and I'm so sad that it's over. For me, the thing that sets the time for all movies is the soundtrack. If it's all pop music you can tell exactly when it was made, and it makes it cheesy. But music like this can last forever. His music, and John Williams's helped make the movies as great as they are.

I never told anyone this, but here goes: when i first read the 1st book and the 1st movie came out I was 11 and I wished everyday with all my heart that I would receive my own hogwarts letter, so i could go to hogwarts with harry, ron and hermionie, but it never happened :(,. BUt now I look back and realize everytime i read the books or watch the movies I am in the magical world i'm sad that its over but happy i lived and became part of the harry potter generation.

@ghentyboy He is definitely portrayed different in the books. James was a little bit of an ass, but in a more playful way. He bullied Severus (Or Snivellus) because of how jealous he was of him hanging around Lily so much. James did talk to Harry at the stone part too.

You have every right to say it yes, xD The movies completely killed most of the characters anyway. Did you know Neville was also thought to be the one meant to kill Voldemort?

Or that Draco and Harry are distantly related?

@ghentyboy: James (and Sirius) were bullies towards Snape when younger but they matured later on (well, James did. Sirius continues his fights with Snape up until his death). James and Lily started dating in their 7th year at Hogwarts and Lily wouldn't date an asshole. As for Snape at first they picked on him for no reason but they continued to bully him because of his fascination with the Dark Arts. Not that that's any excuse. And James did speak to Harry in the clearing. ;)
