and a note to the owner... those old carbs have a specific starting procedure when cold:

1 - press the gas pedal all the way to the floor

2 - release completely

3 - press gas pedal about 1/3 of the way down

4 - turn the key.

my first car was a '64 Chrysler Newport. following that process, even on the coldest mornings in winter, the motor caught before it had completed one full revolution.

$3000 on a good day at that. To command $9,500, this car would need to be in superb "daily driver" condition and be all original (supurb daily driver condition is what you might typically think see in a 4-year old car with 50,000 miles on it -- not perfect by any means, but everything still works and looks good except for a few minor scratches and dings). Things like the aftermarket valve covers actually hurt the value of a care like this.

this car is very restorable would make a good project car and with a 440 mag is rare in a 65 newyoker if it came like that orginally would make the car worth in that shape 1500 to 1700 tops but if the 440 did not come with the car win new then it would be worth only 600 to 700 with the 440 mag in it less if the original motor was in there you can allways pull the Motor and put it in a charger ,

I had a MINT 66 Town Sedan with Factory Disc Brakes on the front in 2001. The car had Mint Original Paint. Interior was Mint. Even had the Original UNused Spare tire and Owners Manual! I paid $2000 for it from a dealer and 13 months later I sold it for $1400. Out of 85 cars I've had, it was the hardest one to sell. The one in this video isn't worth anywhere near $9500
