Quick comment... (not gonna add anything to the predictions 'cause it's all been said already... although stevenson might surprise us)

Hasn't it seemed that lately, the quality of fights on the free "fight night" cards, has been higher then the PPV's?

The PPV's are always stacked with the bigger names, but it seems like the fighters are hungrier on the free shows. and we end up seeing better fights... (lately, usually)

Your all right and i coulnt agree with you more about Diego, being a better all around fighter(at 170). The main reason im going with JoeDaddy is the cut to 155 for Sanchez. Remember he had problems making 170 in the past . Also this is Joe's second fight at O2 in as many fights. That and the fact Sanchez in not with Ghengis anymore in NM! Otherwise i agree with u guys about sanchez 2 losses on the way he lost, just not who he lost to. As opposed to Stevenson's last 2 defeats. GO JOE! :)

Good picks guys, you're dead right about the Sanchez/Stevenson fight, Sanchez lost to two great fighters (Jon Fitch is the best welterweight in the world not named GSP), and he just has more ways to win than Stevenson does. What is up with Fitch being relegated to non-televised undercard last PPV? CRAZY!!!

The reason why think diego is going to win over stevenson is he just has more tools than joe:Cardio, Boxing(for some they are equal but as U have seen in his other fights, sanchez has stepped up his stand up completely), and diego ground game is Phenomenal. I just dont see Joe winning the fight other than a lucky punch or takedown, either way he is strong enough to recover

Sonnen was working Filho in their first fight until he got caught. And with McDonald getting Maia's back, I'm not entirely convinced Maia will put this one away easy. But I basically see this going like the first Filho/Sonnen fight, with Maia being a bit more competitive than Filho, and pulling off a sub.

Diego via TKO 2nd round. He's faster, bigger, stronger, and has faced tougher opponents and has a better record. I doubt Joe will get subbed, especially in kind of a do or die situation like he is in and after the embarrassing sub loss to kenny after getting his black belt. But Diego will overpower him.

Markham TKO 2nd round. Yeah this one's pretty tough to call.

Marquardt Unanimous Decision. I'm looking forward to this fight the most.

Maia Sub. Sonnen 3rd round.

I think Sonnen vs Maia will surprise us all. Because bear in mind Sonnen beat Filho, Maea isn't going to take Sonnen down, not because he doesn't want to, but because it will be very difficult. If Sonnen just keeps it standing, takes a step back if MaIa "falls down" he'll win a very boring but well deserved decision. Maia by submission could happen too.

Both are good and comparible, with Filho being much stronger. But you're better off saying that Filho showed up to that fight in horrible condition.

Anyhow, Maia either gets taken and submits(MacDonald/Herman), or takes down and submits(Quarry), they've all practically played into his strengths, will Sonnen beat Maia? Theres a chance and thats all I'm saying.

Great video guys. Really liked Jared picking Wilson over Nate because he's definitely in with a big chance of winning that fight. Maia vs Sonnen should be a good test for Maia and a very tough fight for Sonnen. I also think Diego is basically just a bigger and better version of Joe and he's also been fighting bigger and better guys than Joe so if he makes the cut properly Joe is in for a tough night.

I love Damian Maia, but I don't think he can take the presser of Sonnen. Sonnens not going to the ground. Look at his last fight with paulo filho he had Paulo rocked the whole fight, but wouldn't follow him to the ground. Maia just takes a beating till he get to the ground, Sonnen wont go there and Maia can't take him down. Sonnen is too big for him.

To be honest i think Sanchez will run through Stevenson. Ya their both 2-2 but Stevenson got destroyed in his loses and Sanchez only lost by descions and in his last two fights Sanchez has shown his Brutal Ground and Pound and Agressivess. And Also In his last fight Sanchez threw brutal headkicks and tkoed Fiorvanti who has a better chin and better striker than Joe Stevenson and He destroyed him. So i think Sanchez will run through the Stevenson just like Ken-Flo and Bj Penn did

Hardy Will Pick apart Markham. Markham will keep coming towards Hardy and Hardy will circle and win a decision by scoring more points. As for Diego, yes the weight cut can harm him but I don't think that's going to be the case this time. Stevenson is small enough to be a 145'er. I'm sure Diego will win TKO, or rear naked choke. And personally I believe Junior Dos Santos and Stefan Struve got snubbed from the main card. That fight will be more exciting!

I agree With Everything You guys said except for one thing. When you said that cutting weight would help his cardio. I am a wrestler and know from personal experience that this is sadly not the case unless your cutting pure fat and from the looks of Diego that won't be happening. In order for him to cut weight he is going to have to lose all fat (energy) and water weight (hydration) This leads to you getting tired much easier. However in wrestling u make weight and go in UFC u get a day
