I just came back from Jamaica and also took the Dunns River fall trip ... Yes you must have water shoes, Dont know how good Crocs will hang on thoughs slippery rocks. I had the time of my life their.

im going to jamaica for a mission trip next week and we have a fun day to go to Dunns River Falls! we were told to wear the oldest pair of tennis shoes cause they will be pretty beat up after the climb! is this fun? is it tiring? any tips?

I climbed the Dunn's

River falls last December. IT WAS HOT IN THE WINTER! I didn't hold hands though, i climbed it like a ninja and found a small cave in the falls somewhere near the top. ALthough i did fall and gash my leg on a slippery rock. JERK LOBSTER IS BAD ASS!

No, Most people hold hands. If you don't hold hands with other people you might slip on the moss and fall if your not really careful. But even if a rock looks safe its really decieving because its somehow slippery anyway.

no, but you can fall (when i went, i fell many times.....) but it doesnt really hurt since the rocks are covered in moss.

Hi, I'm going to Dunn's River on the 16th of March. Do you have to have water shoes or can you wear crocs?

I was about to loose my crocs in the river and much important they are not safe for this. You better wear some good water shoes or some non leather sport shoes. Have fun!

I didn't wear water shoes when i went, I went bare foot and I was just fine. The only bad thing was that there were some tiny sharp rocks that poked my feet alittle but not enough to bother anything. But climing the falls is awsome. The water is like ice though so be prepared.
