@peppermelon11 I think they did that just for the irony. Cause the name of the album is Everything's Fine. But when most people say, "I'm fine," they have underlying sadness that they're not showing. So the =( is supposed to show how people are sad, even when they say "everything's fine." That's just my take on it. :)
