@mdharfman No, it was Scott. You hear it mentioned on the History of Howard Stern segment that they did use this sample for that very reason, that Scott wasn't a good drummer.
I always thought Scott the engineer did a pretty good job of drumming on this one, but come to find out they sampled a John Bonham drum track to help him out LOL
This song is a microcosm of the whole show. Howard is in front and he's the genius that came up with the whole idea. But it wouldn't be good without Fred. He makes the song.
I was listening to this live on the radio 10-11 years ago.... Howard was proving that any celeberity could have a band, and he could beat them. I don't remember if this was vs Tina Yothers or Tim Russ... It's a great cover actually. I still like it.
@5thBeatleSTi They beat Russ with this one and beat Yothers with Court of the Crimson King. It's almost unbelievable that it's been 11 years since they covered Hurdy Gurdy, although, my personal favorite was when they beat Fozzy with their Old Man cover a few years later. Long live the King... of all media!
I listened to this on one of the howards mamary lanes I think its such a good song mix I love how Howard came up with this mix, sounds great I wish it was on iTunes I would buy it actually lol.
Nothing but the best !
