Ed,Al & Mike were KILLER on this tour,Sammy was come & go (vocally), But they gave up the goods. Al had a herniated disk in his neck (that explains the neck brace) & STILL PLAYED LIKE A CHAMP. Ed said: "My hip ain't got nothing to do with my hands. I just ain't gonna be jumpin' up & down no more !!" & played FLAWLESSLY. THE VAN HALEN BROTHERS, ALEXANDER & EDWARD VAN HALEN: THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME !!!!

Although I wound up owning most VH albums I never thought they achieved the potential of their abilities until I heard this song. The sound on this record was stunning! And this is my favorite song from Balance, and maybe my favorite VH song altogether (even though I'm a 'Dave' guy..). A tasteful middle solo and a more rocking one at the end, with those power chords and triplets - this is great stuff. This is a great recording too, showing off that impeccable guitar sound live. Thanks!

I did see this tour and thought it was terrible. By this time the relationship between Eddie and Sam was deteriorating at a rapid pace. Sammy covers the decline of his relationship by the balance tour very clearly in his book.  Yes 2004 sucked....no argument from me on that but that doesnt change that this tour was the end of VH with Sammy as a practical entity.
