Please could someone with love for the sport and the ‘know how’ , please record this year’s (February 18-19, 2011) sky trials and also upload them to the You Tube site, or put them on DVD for sale. During this flight, the falcon will be judged on pitch, stoop and the pursuit after the stoop. They are also introducing the Judge’s Choice points in which the falcon climbs, stoops and pursues with such flair that “extra credit” is deserved. Please read next post to continue.
Wow, looks fun. Down here in Texas we don't have near as many people at the sky trials (probably has something to do with the heat and all, lol).Would have been nice to see more stooping, but I know first hand how insanely difficult it is to capture! Otherwise, it's great to see lots of people are watching stuff like this :)
Very very nice!! Perfect music and great editing. Looks like this was shot with a DSLR? One of the best falconry videos I've seen without a doubt with a nice modern feel to it. Compliments to the videographer and editor. I almost wish I would have continued to the sky trials after a week up at the cabin in Wyoming.
