Is this G-Police: Weapons of Justice? Damn, what a great game. Remember that one mission in which you'd have to make your way out of a tunnel system guarded by Syndicate Gunboats? Hard as shit.

I'd sure want a sequel or remake today for my Xbox360, but they'd never be able to make it the same game again.

G Police and its sequel are still great games. The cutscenes still look pretty good. I played the heck out of them in the good old days. You can download G Police 1 from the Playstation Network, not sure about 2 though. I still have the CD for G Police 1. We need a PS3 sequel badly.

I hope it's like Acclaim after it's downfall: Some make it back, and some don't. G-Police should be picked up by another dev. Either that, or SCEE gets their lazy asses up and remakes the first one. Wait, I've got it: G-Police Steam! EA could take the rights, and a small team could make a new addition to the series. Oh, and Valve develops. If they revived Team Fortress, they can revive this. All it takes is a little panache and you're in good shape.

I have never heard of the game until 2002, and I've become HOOKED! I cannot believe they have never made a sequel! They should definately give us G-Police fans our last request, and I'm sure if they did advertise it right, people would flock to buy it.

What kills me is that I really liked the use of dual analog and separate cannon/missile buttons, but I really can't stand piloting anything other than a havoc/venom. The missions involving the rhino, raptor, and corsair were terrible.

I've still got all my PS1 games. So many of them are made by Psygnosis, and many of them are among my best. If only the company hadn't been swallowed up. I'd love to see on next gen say... G-Police 3: Final Justice and Colony Wars: Great Battles of Colony Wars, or Colony Wars: Alien Wars. As for Grice, the final cutscene says he has to be heading for Mars, there's nowhere else for him to go, and he may plan to launch a nuclear strike against Earth.

Well, I wish someone made a G-Police mod for Battlefield 2142... (C'mon, we all know that UD-6 Talon is a 100% copy of Havoc Gunship). I've a full visiopn of how such mod would look, I got some plot ideas and stuff, but I've no skill in 3D modeling and scripting at all.

It's a shame there's no G-Police 3, it would be a real fight to the finish, with both forces bled white. The G-Police would have what few forces they have left, and Kincaid's defectors, and Grice would have what little he had left, and what's left of his 1st Mars Division. And that could open the door to another sequel, with the G-Police almost destroyed. I can imagine the training missions, with Slater putting the new rookies through their paces, before the new bad guy shows up.

Are there really any games like this for any platform? There are plenty of shooters set in space such as Freelancer, I-War, Colony Wars, and Freespace. But they aren't as interesting because they aren't set within a metropolis featuring bombs and ground vehicles.
