This was my flippin' life when I was a barista at Starbucks! If I had to hear about that damn duty roster one more time from my assistant manager I swear I was going to shove it up her butt! And the voices of some of my co-workers were just as annoying as that drive thru woman! Do I miss it? Never!!!

To all the baristas(male and female) we appreciate what you do and I heard about the recent case about your managers taking your tips. Completely unfair, any way us as customers can show our appreciation, help you attain a bonus, whatever it takes to help make things even a little better?

OMG. . .funniest thing ever. I hear the drive-thru indicator in my sleep, along with the timers and that god-awful noise the safe makes. Our DM is bat-shit crazy and decides to visit our store daily, causing unnecessary hell. It's kinda nice to know that there are other baristas who understand the pain of wearing the green/black apron.

i never said anything about the origins of starbuks I'm glad that it exists but I'm completely against the corporate road that the company has taken ... which is the only reason why i say that pressing a button for a double instead of getting some nicely ground espresso beans into a port-filter and tamp it ..etc is bullshit ...
