@WOWretardedfriends Haven't watched it in ages but can sum up some: A new human race called Diclonius or something are normal humans but they have different genetic levels and they have phsycical abnormailites like small horns on their head. Lucy, the main char, is one of them who escapes from a island where they experiment on them and drifts to the coast. Kohta, who just moved there finds her but she has developed amnesia. can't wrtie more due to no space left, but it is very much violence^^

Elfen Lied, pretty good opening ( a bit overrated ) but I've never watched the show.

Death Note, the second opening is better. Far better. The first opening is just so generic. A little disappointed to see it at number one.

I personally do not like Death Note, but it has nothing to do with the fact that the opening shouldn't even be in the top ten.

My top five would be Shakugan no Shana First opening, both Ghost in the Shell openings, Blood+ Opening 1 and probably Gurren's Lagaans Opening.

I'm going to have to agree with this. Death Note's opening is pretty lousy, all things considered. Say what you like about the series, there's no reason for the OPENING to be number 1, especially compared to things like Cruel Angel's Thesis.
