They sound like they came out of a first grader's class poem, that's why. She tries to sound deep, but her lyrics are a complete piece of crap. They mean NOTHING.

Some try to fit it into some type of frame to make it make sense. This song is not about loving life. Any chorus of a modern pop song that consists of 3 words is not a really a chorus. All four verses sound like they could be the springboard of a really good song, but together, they suck. She's either lazy, or not very talented.
