There's always two sides to every story. This guy sure seems to have had a golden opportunity in life. Given all his excuses and alibi's, he comes off defensive, like he feels he blew it.
Vinx, I saw you perform in Austin on that tour with Sting and was blown away. Honest to God, I was more impressed with you than I was Sting. (Do you remember you got a standing ovation??) I can't believe that he treated you that way. What he owed you was a drop in the bucket! I saw you later perform at the now defunct "Liberty Lunch" here in Austin, again - just awesome. You sat in the crowd after the show and just talked with us. It was a great experience! You were so personable! Never stop!!
That was unfortunate that this bad money experience popped up its ugly head however the musical experience was one of the finest unplugged had to offer, Vinx your contribution was phenomenal. STVBROWN thanks for the posting.
Vinx the world is round my friend, what goes around comes around. I am a fan of sting but that is just fuc_ed up. I love your cd & have been a fan since day 1. May god look over you & your music . Keep up the good work.
I would like to hear the whole story behind this. Why wouldn't they pay him at the time. I think Miles Copeland would be the best one to answer this as he just about ran everything in Stings business life. But Sting should made sure it happened.I think it may have had to do with Stings accountant at the time who had pilfered about 6 million pounds from Sting. They could have made it up to VInx in the right way later.Tsk Tsk on Sting and Miles.
Man, you had a great musical experience, regardless of the clash. I hear you 100%. Too bad about the whole money trip. I feel bad that you had to go through that. It's gotta hurt. They can't take your money but they'll never take your music.
