Is BPE okay? Recent posts and updates on LJ and MS have been a little disturbing; now as of 8/14 it seems all official sites he maintains have been pulled off, and even his Wikipedia entry is referring to him in the PAST tense (!).

As a fan of his from the Bay Area, it would be a damned shame if someone as talented and inspiring an artist as BPE decides to give up and check out. Any info one way or ther other from anyone out there would be appreciated.

He seemed completely cool whenever I saw him and before and after BedVlogging...... but I have not read his vlog yet. Nationals is always 10,000 percent an exhausting experience though and always filled with bunches of drama.

My patent pending editing technique is to shoot for 10-15 minutes and then start chopping and TRY to cut it to 3-4 minutes. At the National Poetry Slam there is never time for even 90 minutes of sleep a night.. So all Bed Vlog edits have to take me 30 minutes or less so I am left with 1 hour of sleep. At NPS we have great fun with the slam celebrity Bed Vlogs though

I wasn't trying to diss. This is better than what I could do in three times that time. I was just laughing at the "we'll edit that out" comments. I'm getting addicted to these NPS posts.

Understood, I was not taking it as a dis.... the BedVlogs are all intentionally done with a mimimm of fuss.... we never plan more than a basic topic.... then shoot and then I do a quick cho always trying to get from 8-15 minutes down to 2-4 minutes [like any good slam poet]. Thanks for the kudos and kind words.... we do have fun.
