Raavanan is indeed a great ruler, a good siva devotee and beyond all, a very good musician whose music had the ability to melt mountains.

Definitely a visual treat to see these people performing execellently on stage. There was more commercialism than bharatham, I should say. It would be great if shobana reveals the sources of this part of Ramayanam, where at the battle, Ravanan says that the twin Lava and Kusha are his gift to Rama. Shobana proves herself as a good dancer with her "Bhaavams". Efforts are really appreciated for training her students to perfection. Would have been an A+ if cinematic touch was not given to it.

wow this looks awesome i really wanna see this on DVD....shobana is amazing, and she's so creative for coming up w/this whole concept n choreography, not 2 mention she looks stunning in all her costumes n makeup, so dramatic n so beautiful....she put in so much effort & this really looks like a masterpiece. i love shobana & her acting. all my best wishes

One of my sirs used to say Ravana, for all his foibles and follies, would have been a majestic sight! All those years of tapa couldn't have gone in vain- he held :)

and here, Shobana makes one adorable.. extremely desirable Ravana!.. beautiful costumes by the way!

my dear friend....this is not a gimmick.....its ballet!It takes time, perseverance,committment and a lot of dedication.Its easy to pass it out as a gimmick but a lot of appreciation to accept it as ballet.

Seetha is sitting in ashokavanam. Ravana comes to ask her to marry him, and then they dance to Chinnamma Chilakamma. Very good Ballet. If it is taking a lot of time to make it, well it is time wasted.

I remember attending a function as a kid wher she was to give 5 dance performances at the closing ceremony. Thought I would be hell bored n fast asleep b4 the show got over! But she bowled me over! nope. the enitire audience were mesmerised!
