Hey I am Brodie and I am getting a 280 zx in a few weeks, but I am only 14 and I need to fix some stuff to make it road worthy. One of the problems is that the glass pannels on the roof are cracked. Now in your video you said you had replaced the roof because it was rusted. So I am hoping that your car had the t-top roof. If it did could you please tell me how you got the new roof.

P.s love the car. One of the sexiest 280's I've seen and I've seen a few scummy jobs. :) absolutly love it.

@DJfizzalot __no, it was a slick top just like mine. If all that's cracked is the glass on yours, you should be able to get them replaced.

@DaCoolestPersn well...for one, I've always like v8's ; and for two, I'll have over 400 horse in a 2800 lb car for less than half of what it would take to get that power out of the inline 6..reliably that is.

How do the triples run on that stock l28... I want to do the same but people say its a waste of time.. btw what is the settings on the carbs?

They run great...more top end power and alot more throttle response. The settings on the carbs are pretty much as I got them...they were already set-up when I got them.

Kind of rare in the Non-GL edition you have. Do you like the manual rack and pinion steering?

It's a little heavy at slower speeds, but I like it over all...it also cleans up the engine compartment since I don't have to deal with the powersteering stuff.
