Terrible way to end a game... always hate playing the refs in hawaii. Not too excited for that again in a couple years when we visit.

This historic 1999 season resurged my Hawai'i fandom, which was dorment during the Von Appen era... I still have this game on VHS somewhere...Thanks for uploading!

Not WAC refs, but the call was atrocious. All four players clearly stayed to the right of the kicker before the ball was kicked. Look at 2:12 again. It shoulda been Beaver ball at the 45 with 1:25 left. It coulda been an epic game. It's 10+ years later, and I still feel cheated.

Aw man, when I found out Hawaii had won a share of the WAC title in 1999, I was ecstatic. And thus began the renaissance of Hawaii Warrior football.
