Yes - I agree. HOWEVER - 96% of all jewellery sold in the western world has no "real" value. Australia is not any worse than some developed countries.

Australia does have many good retailers - allbeit at full retail price!

It's such a shame - it's hard to find high quality jewellery in Australia. Very nice stuff in the shops, but for fine Jewellery I shop overseas
