@RockyRoady999 I ran it with Windows on bootcamp. You can get Windows 7 (or the windows 8 developer preview (free) , and I'll make a tutorial if you want) and then install it using a Mac app called Bootcamp that comes with your Mac. It's pretty simple, but I can help you out if you need it :P
You could have just used a regular xbox 360 controller and used the the battery charger that plugs into the controller and ends with a usb it works the same. I'd also like to mention that the wired 360 controllers don't have the big bulky battery pack and using the wireless ones that do with the charger cable you can just take the battery pack off. I have both a wired and wireless(with usb connected) and both have worked fine with games on steam.
@wruneskape I thought that was possible, and I read online that those were only for charging, but I guess not. :P What controllers are you using for it (when did you get them, new or old? maybe they changed it or something), and where can you get this cable>
@FutureInventions My 360 controllers are very old I've had them since the console launched, but I'm pretty sure newer ones will work just fine doing what I said in the previous comment. The cable is for charging off your console, but if you use it on a PC it can be used just like the one you bought for playing PC games. You can get one from purchasing the rechargeable battery pack it's included.
@wruneskape Looked it up, the new ones only charge. :/ that's why they're selling these. Microsoft would rather make $60 than whatever you would buy a regular cable for.
What a NOOB
