I'll bet that it isn't water in that sprayer pump, but lighter fluid. All of the O.G. shoe-shiners in the south use lighter fluid and it makes that shit bling.

First, you should to clean up the shoe (Brush the shoe then wipe the shoe by using a leather cleaner)

Second, Apply a Shoe Cream by Cotton Cloth (Again, Brush & Wipe the excess in the end of process)

Third, Apply a Polish Wax (Same procedure like 2nd step, but I don't know why there's 2 can in this process & what it is actually)

That's all. Some process missing in this video I though

1. Edge Dressing

2. Sole Treatment by Mink Oil

*Brush then Wipe step same like Buffing ;)

1- Brushing (to remove dust)

2- Applying conditioner (he uses a formula of his own)

3- Applying shoe cream (horsehair brush, again proprietary formula)

4- Brushing to bring out the polish in the cream

5- Buffing to remove every excess of cream

6- Applying wax (Saphir I presume) with a clean cloth. The strange bottle is a water spray dispenser

7- Brushing with a slightly wet brush

8- Buffing with damp cloth, to achieve the mirror-shine
