We need a bona fide guru in order to understand Krishna. Just like Uddhava was sent by Krishna to hear about the gopis' love for Him, and Uddhava was so impressed that he prayed to become a blade of grass in order for the gopis to trample him. He took the gopis to be his gurus.
So even now there are those who are self realized gopis in seemingly material bodies of either male or female persausion but they are there, self realized souls who can teach us how to serve the Lord and bring us to Him.
Ultimate. Thats the difference between Gyan(Wisdom/Knowledge)& Love supreme. Perhaps the most difficult & complex to explain subject in Srimad Bhagvat Gita...
What I have come to understand is Wisdom makes u see things with an eyes controlled by Brains, perhaps makes u more logical & reasonable thus taking u away from the Divine.
Whereas love makes u see things with an Eyes controlled by ur Heart & thus fills u with the feeling of surrender, sacrifice and oneness taking u nearer to him.

Wisdom free from "Self (Aham)" helps you in knowing the devine whereas Love free from "Wisdom & Lobh" actually takes u towards him & makes u the part of it.

The simple way to do it in Today's world is follow Bhagwad Gita's teachings. Take Sharnaagati of Lord and let him do everything and you just chant his name in mind and say 'O Lord you are amazing I didn't even think of that you did it in such a nice way' and also Gita says 'Everything is happening you just have to get trained in becoming an observer'. Practice this and see, Life would take a sharp turn towards God. Just see my other video of Virat swaroop you will understand that easily.
Might be u r right. Then what about the Karma Yoga & Prem Yoga? While living in this materialistic World, Karma Yog & Prema Yog r the two important ways to get close to the Divine.

Doing whaterver work that has been assigned to u with complete devotion along with his name in ur mind & faith in his existence is all I believe is required to know & get closer to him.
You are right.This is Karm Yog.But along with it there is one more thing which is most important of all or you may slip from the path that is chanting Lord's name and his glorious deeds. Thats why I have mentioned "with His name in our mind & faith in his existence". Let us take the path of "Nishkaam Karma" with His name in our Hearts and faith in his existence and as He had promised us "You take 1 step towards me and I shall walk 10 steps towards you".
He himself being "Karma Sheel" will chose the path of "Prem Yoga" to reach us. Let our "Karma" be one step towards him & his "Prem" for his devotees will make him walk 10 steps towards them. After all Prem ki Reet Nirali Hai.
