I am really sad that the show got cancelled and am participating in the campaigns for getting a fourth season or at least a Kyle XY movie to tie up loose ends etc.

Campaigns like that CAN work but only if a lot of people actually help. Its not too late yet!

He is a clone of Adam Baylin and in the process of cloning, he was suspended in a pink fluid in a pod like thing. He has been suspended in the pod for almost 20 years. Kyle is used to the shape of the pod, so therefore he prefers a bathtub compared to a bed. Hope it helps

Actually no. H was made with the DNA of Adam but is a totally different person. Without a mother his genes became a copy of Adam but a clone is a copy in dna and mental thinking .... Kyle is just like a son or look alike.

Adam only says that he did create 781227 which is now Kyle. 781227 was in the tank (Josh used the term "pod") for about sixteen years, no details on that either. The bathtub was adopted by Kyle in Sn 1 "Sleepless in Seattle", and his position in it is not similar to being in the tank. It was just a device of the writers, and adopted by the fans as a symbol.
