As a Pole, I have to say it against the official history they learn us at school - if Poland would have follow through the unwritten cooperation with Germany (after Germans asked Poland for permission to invade Czechoslovakia, than Lithuania - actually giving Poles extra strategic edge). It brought people from diverse nationalities and people intermingled and intermarried freely. It was hardly uncommon, even in those days, for someone to have an Irish father and an Italian mother. America has long been known as a place where people are far less concerned with tribes or ethnicity and far more concerned with merit or what you can bring to the table.
Hitler wanted to use Japan to distract the United States while Germany took over Europe and built a navy. Then he planned to attack the U.S. and destroy this country which he believed was populated by a "mud" people. Hitler liked Arabs because they fit into his warped view of racial history. He did plan to slowly eradicate them however, after they had used up their usefulness.
Hitler's intent wasn't "blatant", and he wasn't interested in world conquest. He was in an alliance with japan and part of their alliance was, should they be at war with another nation they would defend each other. As a Pole, I have to say it against the official history they learn us at school - if Poland would have follow through the unwritten cooperation with Germany (after Germans asked Poland for permission to invade Czechoslovakia, than Lithuania - actually giving Poles extra strategic edge). That's the gist of my initial post. The same conceptions ring true for what Haushofer postulated IRC for Germany as an autark empire with enough lebensraum. As for the organic state: there may be instances where it may have its uses, but if I were to apply a moral label to it I'd call it evil.

The term "melting pot," as referring to the United States, pre-dates Hitler, Nazism, or even fascism for that matter. It brought people from diverse nationalities and people intermingled and intermarried freely. It was hardly uncommon, even in those days, for someone to have an Irish father and an Italian mother. America has long been known as a place where people are far less concerned with tribes or ethnicity and far more concerned with merit or what you can bring to the table.

Hitler's own geopolitical strategy aimed - at best - at German domination of Europe, but more realistically intended Germany to rule over a league of central and eastern European puppet states which were to provide ressources and manpower.

Sir Hitler did not start ww2, Hitler invaded Poland to reclaim territory that belonged to Germany before ww1 and also to save the lives of the ethnic Germans living there [Bromberg Massacre]. When Germany invaded Poland the UK and France declared war on Germany, starting ww2. Interestingly the Soviet Union also invaded Poland at the same time, the UK and France did not declare war on them, wonder why the communist got a free pass?

Hitler indeed have every right to invade Poland, to gain back the territory France stole away and gave to Poland, and to defend his people. Germans were being murdered in Poland that is fact. Why would it have been to much for the allies to declare war on the Soviet Union? Germany was not afraid to stand up to them and defend Europe. I cannot say jews provoked the holocaust because the holocaust did not happen.

He's talking complete bollocks about WW2. Churchill wasn't even in a position of political power for most of the time between the two World Wars, particularly in the 1930's, until 1939. As for the analogy that Britain (& France) going to war with Germany 'created the holocaust'; that's a bit like saying I saw my neighbour repeatedly beating his wife, so I threatened him to stop, and he later killed her. Therefore it's 'my' fault she died. Total moral relativism in the worst way, by this wally.

Buchanan may be right, but it's a bit speculative on his part. As for the Iraq war, it seems to me that Israel being a key client state within the U.S. sphere, and Hussein looking like the next Nasser--the Nasser who might actually succeed--the fate of that country was necessarily sealed. Hence the war was necessary--and there will need to be many more Iraqs, to prevent an Arab reconquest (which in time will probably happen, in ensuing centuries).
