  • this boy's better at riding than I do...

me?....I'm not even riding the bike, but I already get in a crash accident xD

  • LOOK AT DAT FUKKEN TRACKSTAND

  • weak

  • A robot on an bike looks so human

  • WAIT. THIS GUY IS MAKING ENERGY? BUT HOW MUCH DOES HE TAKE? WHAT DOES IT EQUAL? NEGATIVE OR POSITIVE? COULD THIS BE THE WAY OF FUTURE ENERGY PRODUCTION?

  • 2030 paperboy

  • nice one

  • Another useless Dr.Wily invention to stop Megaman.

  • Cool, but almost creepy looking.

  • Ha I wanna see Him Pop a Wheelie

  • For his next trick, he will get off the bike and stand up.

  • Funny thing is when I stop pedalling a bicycle it falls over. Robot boy doesn't and even starts from an upright position so what's keeping him upright when he is standing still?

  • WHERE'S YOUR GOD NOW!?

  • so this is how the apocaylpse shall come? riding over the hills in the hundreds. on their bicycles.

  • id like to see him get off tht bike

  • @TheUtube4ever I'd like to see him stop! haha

  • Now when I hit one of these idiots with my car I wont feel so bad.

  • ok .. he is off to do the groceries

  • The seat post needs to be raised. He's getting no leg extension, which is very harmful to the knees.

  • Poor guy never gets to see the sun. Pale as fuck

  • It's really cool but I couldn't stop laughing for some reason.

  • RO-BO STOLE MY BIKE

  • can he steal bikes?

  • @reagestme

    :o

  • 1st Delivery Boys. Then what? Every professional will be replaced by machines? Why not? What poor people will do to survive? Engineers, lawyers, physicists, medic, economists, administrators... all can be replaced. Rich families will continue cause they have properties. Poor families will starve.

  • @nobrainQQ well then what do you suggest? to make developing and implementing technology illegal?

  • @schizoidchimp Just observing the facts. Its a no "win" situation. Mankind is a step. We have present day, age... but future is not ours.

  • @nobrainQQ there will always be tasks that need to be performed by a human, which will in turn be supplanted by machines. creating new tasks for humans. repeat ad infinitum.

  • @schizoidchimp Unfortunately your thinking is gullible, naive. Species get extincted. Humans, not even as species, are eternal. We are forcing evolution even faster cause machines get more complex at a higher rate than organisms. The crucial step will be the machine that can design other machines, improve itself... after that its out of control.

  • @nobrainQQ yes i get it, you're smarter than everybody else cos "what if machines take over dude?" I'm sure nobody else has ever indulged in that thought experiment.

  • @schizoidchimp So, lets look at this fact:

    - homo sapiens: 50,000 years,

    - life: 3.7 billion years

Do you really believe homo sapiens will exist in a billion years? We can reach extinction in less than a century with our so smart self-nuclear-destruction-system... and if that fails we have the very better

    -genetic engineering

    -"robotic + AI" emergence

As romans said before the collapse: "carpe diem".

  • @nobrainQQ yes cos I said we'd last a billion years

  • @schizoidchimp "there will always be tasks that need to be performed by a human". OK its just semantics of the word "always". I think this "always" will last much less than a thousand years, and a hundred years sounds enough. What about your opinion?

  • @nobrainQQ 1000 years sound about right, if you disregard thepossibility of petrol prices getting so high that manual labour will once again become viable in a lot of fields where it isn't today (in the western world, that is). Thing is, we'll last a lot longer than all this technology.

  • @schizoidchimp I don't think the future of humans is to fulfill mechanical work. The energy problem will be solved when it becomes an imediate problem. As petrol reserves depletes economy pushes new tech, this is already happening.

I agree that I have a cyberpunk view about the future. I don't see humans dropping tech, and i don't see tech as a quiet slave.

  • @nobrainQQ My friend. whoever will believe in Jesus will exist forever.

  • @smartalvy Your phrase not even makes sense. You can believe anything, nobody cares, unless you reach power. Then, if you want to force people to believe all this nonsense... then... they will care, and people will try to show you that you are a loonie.

  • @smartalvy of course they will, everybody "exists" "forever" when they die. Because they're dead. Forever. Eternal "Life" in "heaven" = Eternally dead.

  • @PetChickenz i believe in jesus alright--he was a real person, but i dont "believe" in a fairytale afterlife, or in a "god" in the sky called "heaven" or that jesus was "god's" human "son". Sorry. you can still believe that stuff but i dont have to.

  • its boring, they just attached robot to that bike, if he can get on bike by himself it would be something, this is just stupid

  • What? No wheelie?

  • is a Moto

  • bleh... it had "FisherPrice" written on it.

  • if it s a delivery boy it must be really easy to rob it.

  • YEAH. THAT'S A DELIVERY BOY!

  • This is not a robot riding a bicycle. This is a self-steering, self-propelled bicycle with a mock-up of a robot attached. The steering actuator is attached to the center bar, and the rear wheel is powered by a motor on top. The "robot body" contains tilt sensors to control the steering actuator. The arms and legs are just for looks.

  • bunnyhop!

  • they should have played the wizard of oz witch theme

  • slow

  • and when the robots take over this will be the only robot thats made fun of

  • BUT WILL IT BLEND ;}

  • what if it hits a bump and flips

  • Why do I want to push it over?

  • Everything thing Japan made is so tech wise

  • why don't they just make bicycles that can drive themselves instead?

  • HES MY NEW CYCLEING BUDDY!

  • good point, with all those robots they have they could probably remote control one with sensors, kind of like surrogate.

  • Instead of wasting time and money on robots they need to come up with a "beem me up" relocation devide so I don't have to drive myself to work. Or I could just ride on the back of this gay little robots back. Looks like he has pretty good balance.

  • this will be good if u live within the radius of the circle the delivery boy tis going around

  • oh well... atleast it still cant walk up stairs without shitting itself :D

  • lol

  • its good but i dont like the way it looks , looks like a gay robot i mean how come the this guys make robots that look gay and make them do useless things? make a robot that does good work like some someones life or heavy works and make it not look like some power ranger gay robot.

  • This is all very good, but what is the actual point? What would it be good for, stealing a bike?

  • At first i thought that my washing machine got laid with bumblebee and the result of that got 1,971,040 hits on youtube... weird.

  • cycles right out the fire escape to freedom

  • Why don't they just make a navigating motorcycle that drives itself?

  • не могу поверить

  • ма

  • i need 2 beer and wine .. and food chinese .. please...

  • fall fall fall!

  • wonder that thing doing motorcycle exam for me with my clothes on robot

  • I want to see this thing on a half-pipe.

  • POP A WHEELIE!!!

  • get high, call for pizza, play with robots

  • Yeah sure, good replacement for pizza boy. Send one of these mechanical plastic fuckers to my house with a pizza. I would just unplug it and keep the money!

  • i can just imagine this dude send burger to my house and i turn him off....

  • i wanna push it off its bycicle!

  • what if it falls......noone will be there to help it

  • "Oh theres thie Pizzarobot"

    *takes pizza*

"Well, he will get to his goal, but without his pizza :P"

  • y dont they just make a robotic bycicle

  • hes my new mail man

  • 30 minutes or its FREE'''''..

  • how can it keep the balance ???

  • @phumo

The giant "fan wheel" in his chest is a flywheel that imparts stabilization to the robot. The flywheel is controlled by computer, which uses gyroscopes to determine spatial reference.

  • Nahh thats the party speaker he's going to be the star DJ in the newest Japanese dance club..

surprisingly they still play old 80's stuff I heard he was playing domo arigoto mr. roboto

    >O

  • @phumo

  • Хрен его понять как он так ездит, но впечатляет.

  • OMG...! SKYNET IS HERE!!!

  • has anyone seen my washing machine?

  • I only have on question. How does it get off the bike?

  • Battlestar Galactica is coming ....

  • Future X Games FTW

  • Robots are to slow now, so we designed a robot-bicycle..

why didnt you give him wheels in the first place -.-

at least it is awesome that its possible.. sigh

  • Wow that is CRAZY!!!

  • This is the only thing I know to use the handlebars instead of just leaning. Or is that just me?

  • @TheManOfVeal when i drive slow i use the handlebar too

  • the pace of all this progress is starting to piss me off.... Its all happening too fast!!!!

  • with so much advancement in technology will eventually destroy the World

Imagine 20 years from here to begin to build these machines in large sizes and imagine that some hacked or virus control these machines?

    what happens the world's end

  • @cirius1990 Then stop using Internet!! It's the future Skynet...

  • @aggelos0225

The more I use the Internet only for work even

  • Thumbs up if you would shoot that fucking thing if it came by your house

  • Nigger stole my bike

  • i always thought no they cant kill us they run and walk so slow and we r so dead o.o

  • combined this with asimo, and we got robotic delivery boys!!!

  • @DemonicMasterMind ha ha !!

  • Did they have to give it glowing red eyes?

  • You mean the robot that ONLY rides bicycles.

  • that iz so coool!!!! i want one :3

  • pfffff i can do that

  • Damn, future, you scary!

  • Future of Chinese food delivery =D

  • @FromQnz2King why talk about chinese when Murata is a japanese robotics company?

  • @FromQnz2King It's Japanese.

  • @FromQnz2King HA. More like the future of mail carriers.

  • @FromQnz2King omg that would be fucking awesome i want sum round table now

  • @FromQnz2King PLEASE atleast tell me they arn't going to program these things to leave things advertisements on my doorknob!

  • @FromQnz2King: Heck yeah, slap a GPS on him and he'll have my orange chicken and shrimp fried rice to my house in no time!

  • @FromQnz2King jajajajaja yeeeee

  • @FromQnz2King LOL!!!

  • this is a sad day for delivery boys

  • @ieatporkpies i would prbly rob the freking robot if i ever see it delivering pizza :P LOLOL

  • Comment removed

  • Why doesn't the bike fall over when it stops?

  • @TriKri

Ther eprobably is a gyroscope in the robot, to keep balance.

  • Comment removed

  • @fullfacile But that's cheating! :P Isn't the goal of AI to imitate humans?

  • wow better than my llittle brother

  • Y para que sirve?

  • Good idea ! It is called "Taxi robot rider " Like 3 wheels with seats, same like in Aisa.

It will be cheaper than Real taxi car. to make Friendly eco, Maybe solar panels on roof of 3 wheels bike with taxi robot.

  • For those of you who wonder how the robot balances in stationary position.

This round thing in its chest is a balance wheel. Revolving on its axis, it works like a balancing pole. You can do the same using a balancing pole if you secure the front wheel from steering or if you have another pair of hands to hold the handlebar.

  • Would love to run that son of a bitch over in my car...

  • how can it balance??

  • How could it stay stand while the bicycle is stop and not putting his feet down?

  • I can't believe a robot can do that and I'm saying this FOUR YEARS after this was posted. Amazing shiz.

  • They should let it compete in the Tour de France.

  • can someone tell me why this frikin robot does not fall off the bike even we the bike stops!!???

  • ... It's cool, but I don't get why it needs to ride a bike...

  • People would say this is a pointless video. But I see beyond that.

I remember this hunk of junk toppling over the stairs not too long ago. Good to see some progress.

  • can the robot get off the bike and then get back on?

  • how does it maintain balance......dude this is crazy

  • @yeriable

The flywheel in the middle of its body. It's connected to a stepper motor. It also allows the robot to lean the bicycle into turns.

  • i would be more amazed if it could ride a jetpack

  • Get off there Silly Robot, You dont belong on a bike, you are a Robot!

  • I dont know if its just me or not...but to me this isnt that amazing

all it needs is a gyro system and it needs to keep spinning to keep it balanced

then all it needs is a robot to push it forward

  • so useless :)

  • Why the fuck would a robot need a bicycle?

  • @rickman1945

It whats to be a Man!

  • Look ma no training wheels

  • the future of mailmen

  • if he goes left it deflagrate all over the town. Ovviously. not?

  • can he get off the bicycle?

  • I really want to see someone push it over and see if it falls

  • But can it pop a mono?

  • Ladies and gentlemen, the new paperboy... paperbot.

  • In Soviet Russia, bicycle rides robot.

  • He looks like an orphan haha! Skinny arms and legs, fat belly, bow hair-cut.

  • And this is helpful how?

  • @chickitsgreat Pizza delivery xD

  • @zanyte Tuche my friend.

  • he is like zoolander he cant go left BLUE STEAL

  • Crap, When these robots take over the world they can climb stairs, sing, and worse ride bikes and run over our children

    Were Screwed

  • I like that superlong killer trackstand it did at the end. Ohhhhh. It was just paused. Sorry bout that.

  • this robot can do more than me

  • they tuk our djooobbssss!!!

  • I notice that these robot is only turning right....what about left?

  • @adarne1 ..left....left !!!...are you crazy...Right was complicated enough and you want left..

  • @psycho642 Well...the robot doesnt seem to have any problems at all with its balance so turning left isnt that hard....all you need is to twist your two hands to the other direction....simple as that

  • @adarne1 I was kidding actually..but yeah..it is easy as that

  • So, whats a possible application for this operation? I havent heard of an unused bikes epidemic

  • Why?? Why???

  • Where's will smith?

  • why the fuck is this relevant to anything in the universe?

hey lets make a robot small enough to autonomously do brain surgery without any possibility of damage

no... lets build a robot that can RIDE A BICYCLE

  • so cute ! (:

  • What's the point of inventing a robot that can ride a bike when you could have just made it with wheels instead of legs?

  • y is he not falling??

  • @blazer551 Because they have a flywheel build into it. Everytime it is about to fall the flywheel is moved to counteract this fall. This happens so fast that to the human eye it seems like it isn't even close to falling. In other words in doesn't balance the same way humans do.

  • WHY does a robot needs a bike, just give it wheels :D

  • @kyburz66 i know a kid can do that but can you do with a robot i bet you can't....stop posting such nonsense comments...appreciate the work they did which looks almost impossib
