there so they can be the best that that they can be ....wind beneath my wings as in lifting up. My theory

this is a nice enough version but...I have to say... Bette sings it with SO much more power, meaning, and heart. Perhaps because the movie in which it relates to was such a powerful one but the Celine sings it, she makes it sound like almost everything else she sings.

Bette Midler owns this song, nobody could top her singing it. Bette's version is the only one who can actually touch me when I hear it, she puts all the right emotions into her songs and you can always feel it. Personally I feel Celine just does the song and doesn't put emotion in it. She still has a good voice like, but as I say, Bette Owns this song.
