How did you learn to improvise like that. I would really like to know. I know it is random chords, but you must have s0ome type of training. If it as simple as remembering chords. Anything will help me. I would love to play like that. i would give an arm and a leg.

I don't know..I don't really remember chords either (couldn't instantly name half of what I'm playing).

Sometimes it helps to start with the first 3 chords of a song but not in the same rhythm of that song, and then just go from there, but most often I just.. sit and play.. You can hear the small hesitations when I'm trying to think of what to play next, but I don't think in chords, just 'higher' 'lower' ... Sorry I can't be more helpful here.

Oh my gosh that was amazing! I play the piano too, except I play classical! I never really get time to try out stuff like this coz there's so much to do( i love it though music is my life!) But, maybe in a couple of years I can try out stuff like this coz it's siunds really relaxing to just sit there and let the music take you wherever it wants to go!

Starts with simple chords (C: C/E/G, D: D/Fsharp/A G:G/B/E. A:A/Csharp/E) but change the order of those and add in a few little extra notes and see if that still sounds good. Basically play something with your left hand, and then with the right hand play what notes are in that chord but vary the order, rhythme and leave some out at times..just try it and have fun. it might not sound good at first but in the end I'm sure you can play a nice melody :)

..beautifully done.. too bad there is no score as I would like to play this when shopping for a piano. It really exercises the bass response, and it would help me eliminate a few pianos from consideration. I can imagine it on a Bosendorfer model 290...awesome!:) The joy of playing the piano!!!
