when i do this everything fine until i click on colorize and change the settings in the last adjustment layer the whole picture turns that blueish color that the lightining is suppose to be what am i doing wrong lol

what lightning plug in are you using I only have advanced lightning

That's because you set the blending to 'screen'. I imported it into iMovie and tinkered a bit with the adjustments and it's fine now.
