yeah a board that moves the pieces by itself using technology ...........so you can actually play a game of chess with out having to use a computer screen......yeah this totally sucks......or maybe your just a moron?
i bought one of these in January and played with it for about a week and had to take it back to the store. the game would cheat lol it would say its move and it would move something else. i noticed that just before it would start to cheat or malfunction it would change language on its own and then it would start to move the wrong pieces or i would would be on the hardest level and i could win lol i am a good player but not that good.
I don't know if that would matter, though unless it had more complex mechanisms. If you pay attention to the sounds there is clearly only one movement element under the board, and for good reason. It would be much more complicated to make one that had multiple moving parts underneath.
The time taken to move a piece is irrelevant, a human opponent would take longer to think _and_ move than the computer does; the time taken to reset the board is also irrelevant, go make a damn cup of coffee and stretch your legs between games.

If the system had more complex software it could move multiple peices at the same time, that would make alot more sense.

The Phantom 6100 was faster and made less noise. This model sounds like a cheap toy.
