@electrolyfe They're referring to what indie actually means, "independent." They're technically correct in saying that. I'm technically in an independent band, but we are no where close what people consider to be "indie." Indie labels have nothing to do with the style of music either, they're usually laced with underground punk and metal.

@drumguyrobc yeah I know that "indie" does mean independent, but it has a double meaning to mean a type of music that appeals to a contemporary rock base and combination of other rock genres. That's why I said indie synthpop.. regardless, the initial point I was trying to say was that this is nowhere near "techno/rave" music.
