  • Tongue action is a little choppy for my taste, but well played. One of my favorite Arban characteristic studies.

  • i thought this was supposed to be a slow one?

  • Amazing, yea metronome.. fuck it though. That is difficult and you did great.

  • faster! harder! louder!

  • use a metronome you slow down and speed up to much. slow it down and then gradually speed it up.

  • The first (and easiest part) of the study number 6...

It's very good allready, but I think you should work on phrasing, intonation, and your attack (the way you use your tongue), before you practise speed.

  • omg it's so fast.. i need to be able to do this in two weeks.. i'm going to die..

  • ick

  • slow down a bit

  • Very good, your sense of meter is excellent. I would suggest adjusting the note at 0:30

  • good work but i highly disagree with bugler. if its an exercise its a freaking exercise. its not supposed to be musical. if your trying out for something with this yeah dynamic it up but if your just doing an exercise its not meant to sound all prettyful

  • By the way, I have to respectfully disagree. The Arbans isn't about playing trumpet. It's about Cornet. Cornet is a virtuoso style that is also very lyrical. The point of the exercise is to be very musical. Not something I'd expect a Ramones fan to undertand (just kidding :]). But do you get my point?

  • It's not fake guys, the video and audio are just out of sync.

  • You're a fucking moron.

  • Great job on the memorization! You clearly know all the notes. But all I heard was one volume with absolutely no dynamics. :( Play each ascending phrase with a crescendo and each decending phrase with a decrescendo. Make this a piece of music, not just an excercise. And think "cornet solo".

You have the potential. Keep at it!

  • this was my district audition piece this year, that and Giuseppe Concone's #29 in lyrical studies for trumpet

  • lolololol umm wat was that at the end...

  • this is my favorite one out the arban's.

  • It looks like your playing it from memory. You did a good job you just need a better video camera..lol!!

  • Have you ever played it slower? perhaps to get all the notes and focus on sound?

  • That's much harder than it looks. It probably wasn't a great idea to make a video of this because everyone will think it sucks, but trust me - that's hard. Nice.

  • heeyyyy man...... more respect to the instrument ,you are not playing a SMURF'S tune KEEP WORK!!!

  • I have the Arbans book, and alot of the songs are this hard...someday I'll be able to do them ;)

  • It's the video quality that's bad, better'n you'd play it anyway

  • video and audio are not in sync, hes not faking.

  • That is the most horrible damn video quality ever. But the most beautifully played:) - Jin
