I need to know when this movie is coming out. I have read If I Stay twice and am now reading Where She Went. I want to see the movie so bad. They need to do a good job of it though. It's an excellent book and I recommend it to everyone.

I loved the book, the part when Mia's gramps leaned over and told her it was okay to let go had me in tears and so did the part when Adam ended up crying at her bedside at the end. I'm getting ready to read Where She Went and i'm hoping the movie and second book keep up the standards that If I Stay has set.

I just read on one website that this awesome book can't be made, because the star Dakota Fanning wants to finish up her senior year in high school. Lets hope when she finishes they will do it, or they find a new star.

@BecomingTheGrace, no its not :) She did have problems with her boyfriend and her family before, it's not like a cheesy perfect-before story and now-everything-goes-wrong. She used to feel a bit alone because she was different from her family, and had some challenges with her boyfriend. THe book is about her getting bigger insight in her own life, and life itself. It's really good book.

This book is so awesome and I'm ecstatic that it's being converted into a movie, and I do believe that Catherine Hardwicke is to be at the helm, directing. However, I don't think that Robert and Kristen should play Mia and Adam; they're very much cemented in the rolls of Bella and Edward, and I don't think that they exactly need more fame, nor would fans from either book really be able to picture them as Mia and Adam because of them being so associated with Twilight, but that's just my opinion.

Great book, I can't wait for the movie! I freaked out when I read the book and found out that Mia plays the cello too.

I think they should have the song Hello by Evanescence in the movie, along with classical cello songs. The lyrics fit perfectly, and there's a cello solo in it.

This is such a beautiful book. I'm excited that its going to be turned into a movie. Kristen Stewart & Robert Pattinson would completely be PERFECT for the part of Mia & Adam. and I really mean it. Once you read it, you'll just get this true feeling from each character.  I hope Catherine Hardwicke does a good job at this. =) This is seriously an amazingly written book by Gayle & there is no doubt in my mind that readers will cry through out it.
