Many thanks to the person who uploaded this song. I have all of Richard Tauber's other songs on CD's but this one has eluded me. It was originally on a single record and all of the others on LP's.

Thank God my dad introduced me to Richard Tauber at an early age! My dad passed away in 2009,and this was his favourite Tauber song,and so,reminds me of dad.Try also to listen to his song:Girls were made to love and kiss,my favourite........

I first heard this about 12 yrs old on an old wind-up gramaphone and I still love his version best. I think even chopin might have applauded.. Certainly many who would never know the original music can share it this way.Thank you for making it available.
