I wonder if this baby-sitter killer had an issue with a baby-sitter he had growing up and instead of doing something to her, he went after other baby-sitters when he became an adult.{Or do you say that in part two?..I guess I'll find out} :-)
In all honesty, the opening scene with the letter was the only thing that I found scary. That said, the letter scene is one of the scariest things I've ever watched.
Very inspiring stuff (to make a movie, not to commit the crime!)
I was a 10 year old boy living in Oakland County when his was happening. I remember well. Everything in our lives changed back then. We couldn't go outside alone anymore, we had safe houses we could run to,the "Nay Nay, stranger Stay Away" program brought into the schools. It featured a cute little pony who warned about the danger of strangers. I remember very well. How people forget. I see young kids walking alone all the time. What's up with that? Not my kids ever!
There's a very vague historical accuracy. The Baby Sitter was a name given to a child killer in Oakland County in the mid 1970s. He was never caught so we were going to write a story about why he stopped (ie. the kids come back for him.) But then, as we were beginning production, athorities announced that they believed they caught the Baby-Sitter, thus causing us to change the story to what you have just watched.
who wrote that letter? was it really the babysitter killer from the 70's?
not that i agree with what he's doing at all...don't misunderstand me...however he's a great poet + letter writer. if he wasn't such a psychotic creepo then maybe he could've done something with his life like write poetry + contribute to the world with his writing.
awesome !! between you and shadillac, you guys are mmaking sweet thriller b movies and such ths stuff needs to be lentheed and made a series of creepshows like the old ones,, i been chatting with shadillac and they done film fest, try it i bet yo guys could do something with these. keep up the fun
I'm glad you enjoyed it. Soon, part 2 will be up on Youtube, along with some other short stories we have completed. We have just finished the script for our next horror movie. If everything goes well, it should be almost full length and out early next year.
kind of hard to catch the first part of the monologue, very spooky effect when the text appears in the skull but as the voice is kinda distorted and not all the text is visable i missed bits if u made the words which were in the black part of the screen appear in a different color say red it would be more coherent. but its got my vote
He's not kidding. There really was an Oakland County Serial killer back in the 70s. The press called him the Baby-Sitter because he always attacked children (ages 10-13) and placed their bodies funeral style arms over chest after bathing, grooming, and manicuring them. This story was going to be based on the actual killer until police got new leads that may identify him.

"I'm already in the house"?
Why can't you think of something FUCKING DIFFERENT instead of just copying one of the lamest and cliched of all slasher movie conventions?
ZERO stars for ZERO originality.

The baby-sitter killer never wrote letters to his victim. We added the letter just to try and make the story a little scarier.

that letter is very poetic! you should really consider writing!
