Assume that we know in what Shares/Sectors the MF is invested.
Now by 2 pm those stocks/Sector have shown a phenomenal gain, so can a investor buy the MF invested in those stocks/shares at the NAV quoted at 9.. Sell next day
I am sure People are smart and fund managers are smarter but I want to know how this is avoided.
@rahultheace It won't help - you need to predict the next day's move. See, at 2pm you will still get today's NAV, which will be announced at 9PM today and will already have the sector moves incorporated!
In General, though: Most equity funds have an exit load (between 1% and 2%) for short holding period so that avoids any churns.
A quick Question.
