  • Robert Smith does this song very well. But his doesn't make me cry.

  • I always thought it was funny, though. If she was going to follow the path, why didn't she just follow the dog. I mean, he was sweeping the path after all, so obviously if she followed it it would've been the same as following the path itself. Lol.

  • I never understood, why did they start to disappear?

  • @Roseyredful because she's realizing her foolish ways, and so the nonsense in her world dissappears.

  • @TheDougyK That's genius.

  • that not a song...shes just crying and talking. T_T

  • @pandacupcake234 Then listen to Robert SMith's version. That's a song.

  • What a sweet, sad song.

  • This is a song that I think we can all relate to! :(

  • @strawberryice1231 The actual book Alice in Wonderland is about Lewis Carroll's wife's hardships as she slowly slipped into insanity. That's why everything's so fucked up. That doesn't stop it from being an amazing movie, though. I'm pretty sure every Disney movie has some sort of trippy shit or just something flat out wrong in them. You just never realize it until you grow up and watch them again.

  • this is so sad :( ... FML!

  • I thought this was going to be like the play version but i ended up crying

  • poor alice! disney is a sick, sick, cruel wonderphul man .... Rest in Peace walt..thanxXx phor my childhood treasures

  • @ElChiNo11o11 You credit Alice In Wonderland to Walt Disney? ...

  • @invisibleworlds11 yes i do because i love his movie... & yes ive read the book & i know that this was not created by walt just reinvented to his own imagination which ive phallen deeply in love with

  • @ElChiNo11o11 lol with the way you spell, I doubt that you've read any book. Also, why go commenting on my channel? I'm a uni student with a job, I don't spend time making my channel look pretty. Get a life.

  • @invisibleworlds11 like i give a shit who you are, what you do or what you think... what does my spelling have to do with me reading books you phuckinn idiot.....

  • @ElChiNo11o11 Why do you spell all the f's as ph's?

  • @TheCemeteria ... i actually dont really know.. i started replacing my Fs a couple of yaers ago, been doing it ever since.. i guess its just a bad habbit... besides it seems to piss alot of people off,....... makes me laugh :) ... youre very prettii by the way

  • @TheCemeteria hehehe years.........

  • I cant help crying everytime... )':

  • I loved this song when I was a kid. Still do. I was always in some kind of trouble. Still am.

  • I laughed when the birds cried, so cute!

  • Watching this video when you're sad is not very good advice.

  • disney was trippin sack

  • @terramagica23 Disney didn't come up with the story! Do any of you guys read?! Or are in any way aware of the literary world?!

  • @invisibleworlds11

I dont see why you are offended and using exclamation marks! Disney drew it and my point does not go any further! Go fuck yourself sir!

  • @terramagica23 Well you said that Disney was "trippin" when they were merely drawing what appears in the novel. Why you are so offended by exclamation marks? Also, I'm not a sir, so you are wrong on all points.

  • I always cry every time i hear this or sing it

  • That explains the troubles that im always in!

  • You are a bird with a shovel for a head - stop making me cry. BI

  • @TheClockworkLyre lol, so true!

  • :'(

  • winged pencils!! THE WINGED PENCILS!!!!

  • 16 people follow their own advice

  • Seeing all the forest creatures going closer to Alice hearing her sing made me cry it almost liked they felt sorry for her.

  • 0:05 POT LEAF NEXT TO HER!!!!

  • @seth4564 Especially the 'VERY SELDOM' part. Gah!

  • Robert Smith did a great version of this song

  • Anybody notice how the leaves on the trees look like marijuana?

  • Must...

    Not...

    Cry....

    WHHAAAAHH!!!!

  • I am sure this part was her come down on shrooms.

  • I give myself very good advice but I very seldom follow it. Isn't that true for just about everybody? Clever line.

  • There's always something so sad to me about this scene. A young girl who was so full of hope and wonder being broken down by that voice in her head that tells her she can't go it on her own, and that she needs to be saved. Disney and the author did a great job playing with gender in this film. Almost as much as Mulan. I'll always admire her as one of the more progressive Disney characters.

  • I want one of those owls.

  • @Draakur bet they're on Ebay, everythings on Ebay

  • POGO <3

  • when i was little the things that are surrounding her used to make me cry because they would fade away and I thought hey were dying. :( makes me so sad

  • Oh my gosh!! So nostalgic! I love coming back to this now as an adult! How awesome a message!!! (^_^)

  • I never realized it when I was younger, but Alice is animated amazingly here. The acting is so well done and the gestures look so natural! Look at the hands too. :D

It's sad that this kind of animation is so rarely done now.

  • LIQUID. POURING. OUT. OF. MY. EYEBALLS.

  • best break-up song.

  • i used to cry at this part and i still do.. T^T but i love alice in wonderland!

  • This song used to alays make me cry. I felt so sorry for her :( This is one of my all time favorite Disney movies

  • Yes the amazing Pogo remix of Alice in wonderland brought me here :-) If you have yet to see what I'm refering to i suggest you search Pogo Alice :))) You won't regret it.

  • I never fully understood just how much this would relate to me in the future, when I watched this when I was 7.

  • I'm sorry to say that this song is the most tearful part ever. Sure the Tim Burton version was scary enough but what's scarier is that those creatures have vanished without a trace. Was it because of Alice aiding the Nothing, or just losing sight of what's important? No matter, this Disney movie is not what I would recommend, I assure you.

  • Alone her cries makes me teary eyed... :'(

  • This really sums up my life............ actually not really, CHEER UP ALICE!!!!

  • What a very sad scene and i get sad when i miss everyone when sometimes i haven't seen them along time and hope i see them someday

  • I cried...what a sad scene, I relate so much...

  • Story of my life.

  • when i was little this song made me cry just because she was crying

  • I love AIW! My All-Time-Favorite!

  • Oh, its just for a sec.^^

  • I don't know why I had to point this out, but the hair color for one of those little dudes on the bottom left changes at 1:02..

  • This is what I'm auditioning for IF we do this play

  • this is the exact same thing that happened to me yesterday!

  • @dumboiscute Me too, I'm afraid.

  • i reember this movie scared the shet out of me when i was a kid

  • I just played match maker for the girl I love... I introduced her to someone, and they're getting along swimmingly.

So why is it I feel like Alice does in this clip?

  • @KayneArcheron Cause you ignored your own interests for hers and that was a very noble thing to do, man. I'm glad to see there are people like me who would do that :)

  • Well since i watched this. Time to watch pogo again

  • LSD + Alice = Good Times

  • i just love this scene :D

  • o.o This part of the movie always scared me D:

Especially the broom creature on the dark path..

  • This is so me!!!!

  • I just did something stupid today and I feel exactly like Alice:( Ive learned my lesson...

    I feel really horrible:(

  • whoever this girl is, is absolutely amazing. beautiful voice, and great voicing as well. Also, she wrote "in a world of my own"

  • @JayMalone Kathryn Beaumont =D

  • "I give myself very good advice, but I very seldom follow it"

    Life story.

  • It gives me chills i don't know why i get so emotional from it :(

  • @tomarmstrong14 Hmmm is it Alice is The Voice Look Like Wendy From Peter Pan

  • There were several versions of this movie... But if you hadnt read the book "Through the looking glass" you wouldnt know how to appreciate each movie version. I love all of them in some kind of way ;) ♥

  • That's my life right there. ;__;

  • Why has everything gotten so stupid? I will never know. This is still magic all these years later.

  • The golden days of disney... whatever happened? *sigh*

  • this scene has always made me c-c-cry!!!!!!

  • now digitally remastered!

  • I'm sorry, but Tim Burton could have recaptured the magic of this film and recreated it with his unique directing choices... But, I was quite disappointed :( This will always be the best version

  • @IMbirdieful I was too. But so many people love it just because of Tim Burton. Its sad.

  • @unicorn10188 I love Tim Burton, don't get me wrong, but his film was far too "Disney" for lack of a better word. There was a lack of fragmentation, and the whole magic of the wonder of Wonderland was lost :(. But, hey, we still ahve this gem of a classic :P :)

  • 0:24 Number Tucan Pencils

    BA DUM, TISH!

  • i cried while watching this.

  • ooh we're doing alice in wonderland jr. at my school! im an unbirthday partier. (SADNESS) i'd SOOOO rather be a flower.

  • @Babofan001 thats cute though. be the bestest unbirthday partier lol.

  • im learning this to audition for alice in alice and wonderland jr.

  • What a lovely little song for a lovely little movie. Tim Burton should take notes.

  • makes me think of women, trapped in bad marriages for far too long

  • @keilasunrise lmao XD that is awesome

  • I rewatched this yesterday after ...twelve years at least and I gotta say;Lewis Carroll was definitely on some kind of hallucinogenic when he thought of this story!

  • @MarquiseOfHearts actually there is a sickness being called after him, or let's say after this movie: the alice in wonderland syndrome. It has been discovered after Carroll's death, and many doctors believe that he must have suffered from this rare disease. alice in wonderland is probably carroll's result of his process of coping with that disease.

  • Comment removed

  • This song always make me feel like crying and disappearing like all of those messed-up animal/household object creatures...

  • I think this represents that Alice finally got some common sense.

    Also, LOL umbrella bird

  • Repeat 0:42 for Pogo

  • I love this movie. Such a classic.

    Oh BTW

Shut the hell up about "being naughty" and "meet asian/Russian/Chinese" women!!! IRS fucking annoying!!!

  • I listen to good advice, sometimes!

  • Awwwwwwwwwwwhhhhhhh!

I Used To Love The Little Creatures! Especially The Horn Things And The Owl! <3

  • @Hollyberry95 the pig horn things? theyre honkers :3

  • I'm pretty sure everyone has been through this in their life; they're at their lowest point, they realize all is hopeless, a talk about how we screwed up etc.

And until this point we've been through one really REALLY weird movie. "For every laugh, there is a tear" indeed, Walt Disney...

  • This part always makes me cry like a f*king baby most than any other Disney movie.

  • shes so adorable.

  • poor Alice...

  • i love this :D this is my fave part of the movie :)

  • aww dont cry alice!

  • @TightGangstah me tooo Dx waaa !

  • The Platypus were always my favorite :)

  • I agree with her. I can give advice but don't except me to use it.

  • Murderer!

I was more sad for the creatures she killed than her crying. :(

  • this is the part of her trip where she self reflects and has an epiphany, turning it into a song because she can only make rhymes.

  • can't listen to this without getting chills or thinking of Pogo's remix. :]

  • I like how her crying stops her from singing the song perfectly - it makes it more realistic.

  • @MJNSEIFER ya cuz realisticly we all break in to song when we are crying..

  • @bk2yu Lol. It IS a mucical afterall, but you get what I mean.

  • i luv this movie, alice was my hero!!! when the new one came i was like IM GOING TO WATCH THAT MOVIE, who voiced alice here???

  • @234paramore Kathryn Beaumont

  • @234paramore Kathryn Beaumont (who also voices Wendy in 'Peter Pan') does the voice of Alice.

  • this was my all time favorite movie as a kid!!! <3

  • Just started crying at this :'(

  • I almost cryed.

  • thumbs up if Alice by Pogo brought you here.

  • she was on one evil trip!

  • this is epic

  • Doesnt anyone know what style of music this is ?? because i love it

  • This movie kind of freaked me out when I was little.

But it was still one of my favourite movies

  • I was scared when the owl came in and where all the forest 'things' were acting angry toward her. Other than that i loved the movie, especially Alice's blue dress.

  • Alice loses it.

  • oh acid, you're one hell of a drug

  • @vmabbott23 chuckles

  • how r the pencil things sharpe..i mean think about how oainful that must have been

  • Alice is so cute. :)

I like this song because I feel I can sing it to myself and make sense. People always tell me I give good advice, but I never follow any of it myself and I end up a depressed, emotional wreck :(

Perhaps Alice and I have some rethinking to do? :)

...and lol XD Chesire Cat's random smile in the end. I laughed XD

  • In the end of the song when whe really cries out "follow" I can't help but feel that the swedish dub caries more emotion..

well now i'm off to listen to other dubs as well. =D

  • de veras que es dramática la niña!!! jajajajaja

    me encantan los patitos

  • someone on a Disney wiki site wrote that a sequel "Alice Through the Looking Glass" to this movie would come out in theaters in 2013, but I don't really believe that for a second

  • @ChipmunkRaccoon3 of course not, since this movie actually mix things from the two books!!
