@infinatewarrior May not happen, I can still hope though :) - Also, no way. Im not selling my XBOX to get a PS3. Im just going to save for a few months and then I can have both xD - It also doesnt help that 95% of my friends have 360, so with a PS3, I wouldnt really have that social aspect, hence why its just been delayed a little while (Coming Early 2011 hopefully :D)
@tkell97 I was more thinking of a Blu-ray burner as the Mac Pro is aimed at media professionals, who create over downloading. Also, if you have a Mac Pro, its not aimed at consumers who just use iTunes and consumer - its aimed, as I said, at professionals who create things (movies, photos, dvds etc). As far as Steve disliking it, I cant see him being able to hold out much longer since Blu-ray is a popular upgrade to the current Mac Pros anyways.
@chrismacguy Yes I see it is aimed at Professionals but Blu-ray drive support means OS support which means people may use Blu rays on all their computers. Also Steve Jobs hate blu-ray in any shape/form and says it's a 'bag of hurt'
Sure, I would love a blu-ray drive in my Mac, it would be great being able to use iDVD if it got support to just give a blu-ray with a home movie to some friends, but just what I've read on gadget blogs seems to make it unlikely. I still like the video though :)
@tkell97 Blu-ray is already supported by the Mac OS. It isnt supported for consumers, however after-market drives for the Mac Pro are commonplace, and work fine. (While Apple solutions cannot create the discs, I know for a fact 3rd party software can, and remain unsure about DVD Studio Pro as I dont have a Mac new enough to test it on). iDVD wont get Blu-ray support for at least another 5 years, but since the Mac Pros can have it added anyway, they could add it.
@ryan11012 I will do soon - but since Im currently in the middle of another iteration, itll have to wait a few weeks, but its definitely coming before the end of summer :D

Don't think bluray will come to Mac Pro, Steve Jobs has this thing against it and wouldn't he rather have people using iTunes?
