  • THE 2010 gt RAN A 12.97 @ 108 mph Stock and they tested the new 5.0 @ milan drag way it ran a 12.81 @ 110 mph but thats low class the GT500 ran a 11.7 w/ drags

  • lulz

    13.53

LT1 trans ams were running that in 1995.

  • no stock gt will run 12's, crack smoker!

  • ROFL

  • kidding right?

  • @themilkman316 the 2011 will run high 12's

  • My bone Stock 2007 Mustang GT ran a 12.36 it must be something wrong wit your stang and My Dad Has A 2007 Ford GT500 that ran a 11.86 bone stock

  • No bone stock Mustang GT will run 12.36. Either your track isn't a full 1/4 mile or you're talking out of your ass. I'm pretty sure I know which is the case.

  • No stock Mustang GT run a 12.36 in this world. What planet are you from anyway, Uranus.

  • Alabamer accents are soohhh ANOY-ing. Lol, j/k nice car.

  • I HAVE A CHARGER HAHA

  • The trick to launching a Charger is turning the ESP off and putting the tranny into AutoStick. You shift at a higher rpm that way, plus there isn't anything limiting the power to the path of least resistence. A Charger R/T or Daytona will get beat by a Mustang GT with a good driver, but an SRT-8 is a difference story. They've been known to hit high 12's stock.

  • A Charger R/T or Daytona will get beat by all 2005+ Mustang GTs. The R/Ts run 14.3s. My GT when bone stock ran a best of 13.83 in 80+ degree heat with high humidity. Decently driven manual GTs 05+ hit 13.5s to 13.7s all day long with a few dipping into the low 13s (1 full second better than the R/T).

  • i smoked 3 GT's, 2 autos (1 coupe & 1 convertible) and 1 manual, check my vids, the only vid im missing is the one of the convertible, i will post it soon...i have an R/T you can check my mods on the description of the video

  • all on the driver, my 2007 gt stock ran consistantly 13.20 and a best of 13.14 at 106 with only 300 miles on the clock. UD pulleys and a x-pipe with axlebacks on 17" wheels and ET streets it consistantly runs 12.75s

  • wow

i have the 07 to but i never ran it on the track

now i want to upgrade mine for sure

  • Show me Slips and Video please

  • A Charger SRT is a pretty good match for a Mustang GT. My brother drives a Charger SRT and he beat a 2005 Mustang GT. My brother ran a 13.41 @ 105.8 and the Mustang ran a 13.55 @ 102.3, which isn't such a huge difference. Yes, the Charger accelerates quite a bit faster, but the Mustang's advantage out of the hole made it a good race. A Charger Daytona or R/T will get easily smoked by a Mustang GT.

  • i smoked 3 GT's, 2 autos (1 coupe & 1 convertible) and 1 manual (i have an R/T), check my vids, the only vid im missing is the one of the convertible, i will post it soon...you can check my mods on the description of the video

  • I saw your vids...doesn't look like you "smoked" anyone. Both races against the GTs were very close. Stock R/Ts are slow.

  • a kill is a kill....

  • Srt-8 runs 13.2 with the comp flashed sittin on 22's. I seen it run 10 times in one day, times were identical every run.

  • you can tell for the first 50 feet the chargers esp (traction control) wasnt letting it go. plus the mustang got a better start. plus it looks like the charger closed on the mustang down the track. a gt beating an srt8 would be a fluke.

  • I had a little trouble with one on the highway, but i still pulled him. Maybe your right, was the driver. Either way i won. :-) hehehehe

  • Stock vs. stock a Mustang GT will NOT hang with a SRT in the 1/4 mile. Mods are a different story but stock, NOT gonna happen. An R/T or Daytona is a fair match for a GT.

  • An R/T or Daytona are cake for a stock GT in a 1/4 mile. Stock manual GTs are running 13.4-13.5 in the 1/4 and that is what this SRT-8 ran. My auto with only an underdrive pulley (10 hp at the crank) ran the same time. Mufflers for the 05+ GT don't add any horsepower (just for the sound). All-in-all, my GT was pretty much stock when I ran the same time as the SRT-8.

  • @paintsnif I have a completely stock 2006 GT auto, and My best time is 13.816 (most stock GTs were running low 14s). I ran against my buddies stock SRT-8 last night about 5 times, same result every time, he ran a 13.1 and I ran around 13.8. Stock GT is not going to beat an SRT-8 unless the driver sucks.

  • @pgdowny Mustang is quicker than the R/T and Daytona and slower than the SRT-8s. I ran 13.4 stock and trapped 104mph stock in a stock 07 GT with terrible 3.31 gears. Dont be fooled when you see a stock GT running high 13s, low 14s. They are quicker than that.

  • You are so high to think an srt-8 would pull off anything from mid to low twelves. This is a nice even match for both cars. Even if theres a 125 hp differnce.

  • oh srt guy got owned, GG

  • oh man OWNED

  • it seems like some ppl with SRT8 dont know how to drive them.. my best time in 1/4 mile is 12.34 and he said the mustang there did 13 something... its all about the driver and how he can control the car. thats what i think.. see some of these street races and you wonder why they even have the car if they dont know how to drive them.

  • how hard is it to put your ass to the gas though

  • no not all about putting your foot down on the gas.. its all about how you shift and that guy wasnt shifting it was in atuo so.. that was one mistake he did. i think i would know how the car handels i do own one. and i have raced it before.

  • Both cars actually ran 13.53...the Mustang cut a better light and won.

  • 12.34 in a stock SRT-8? LOL dont think so. Thats faster than a C6 Corvette lol

  • Best time I have heard of was a 12.58 or so. And that was a freak time.

  • no its not stock
