  • what programm do you use to edit your videos? please anwser

  • @DarlingKaya I'm a Mac user and I use Final Cut Pro

  • omfg your hot and im just a kid lol

  • @BlueToxiiC LOL Thanks, kid ;)

  • i really enjoyed this look! it's super pretty, Rae!

i wish i had known about that lovely "Ever Hip" lipstick back when it first came out, cuz I'll bet it's not available anymore :(

  • @liiteratii It's actually not my favorite coral lipstick so don't be too sad! If anything, when it gets re-promoted, you can try it =)

  • I got the birds and berries eye shadow when the collection was released, but I never really knew what to do with it until now! Such a pretty look that I'll definitely try out!

  • @rachrox29 Now I can say I helped you put it to use! Awesome =)

  • I love all if your tutorials do far, they are highly informative and helpful.

  • @iheartubbyy Aww, thank you!

  • i like your tutorials .makes me wna get the products and try it on :) btw it would be really great if you could do one on contouring ,highlight and bronzing (:

  • @lemondots Soon, for sure!

  • @KellyStar9 That is much too kind! Thank you very much for watching =)

  • pretty :) you are great w/ makeup

  • @ingrid3578 Thank you!

  • Wow! i've subcribed to your channel immediately after watching this video.

I'm definitely getting this collection this weekend!!

i've got a question though, i understand the lipliner keeps your lipstick on longer but is it really necessary?? your opinions will be greatly appreciated! thanks!

  • @jkoonhg Hello, there! Thank you so much for your subscription =) And for me at least, lipliner is not a necessity. It's nice when I have the extra time but really, I only use it when I wear bright or red lips!

  • i <3 your eyebrows!!!!

  • @delasoul My eyebrow tutorial will be posted soon ;)

  • Hey Rae :) i recently bought the Shell Pearl beauty powder. Could you please tell me the difference in applying blush and beauty powder. Thx! :D

  • @kikobunny0102 You can use the Beauty Powder as an all-over face color, blush, highlighter, or even eyeshadow. Hence, it's a multi-use product. Blush, however, should be reserved for the cheeks =)

  • This Tutorials really helpful !!!

i will buy M.A.C. Give Me LIBERTY OF LONDON collection soon.

I hope they are not sold out

i love shell pearl & Summer Rose on you cheek

that is so natural check look

oh Can i ask you to do a favor?

can you show us your makeup Collection?

i know you have a lot of makeup stuffs

i just want to see how many you have and how to organize all of them

    PlZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!

  • @2sweetbomb I'm glad you found it helpful and good luck finding them! They're sold out everywhere I've seen thus far =( And I won't have a collection/organization video posted until November!

  • Pretty! You could even wear that eyelook without the silvery color on top. It would look very good on you! :)

  • @Bebe1461 Yes, you can! But the silver helps the color of the Birds and Berries from fading out into a stale blue-grey. Electra makes the look more lively =) And thank you very much!

  • Thank you for the tutorial.... ^^. I was really hesitant on trying out the Birds & Berries eyeshadow but after seeing your tutorial I went ahead and purchased it. Thank you

  • @theresapark78 Awesome! I really love how versatile the color is so I hope you have been enjoying it =)

  • I love this look. Newbie on your channel. Love finding new gems ;) Been on youtube for a long time - almost 2 years and have been watching beauty vids and gurus for ages;) finding new ones is SO amazing. And love your looks! I am also Asian, so I love tutorials fitted for Asian eyes;)Love your eyebrows...do you have a video on those? They are so pretty and still natural!;) So happy I found you! Just subscribed;) Have a wonderful day;) xoxo

  • @CJcandidata Hello, CJ! I'm so happy to hear you've been enjoying my videos =) I know it's difficult for Asian women to find tutorials that actually work for them and I'm glad you have chosen to watch mine! Thank you very much for your subscription and kind comments!

  • SOOO beautiful :). Do you like your Anastasia Brow Wiz Pencil better than your Laura Mercier one?

Btw I love the way you explain everything! Keep up the good work :).

I've never seen a catline explained that way, but its so much easier that way! I went to go try it out after you explained it =P. And my line just looked so much nicer. So thankyou :).

The blush was absolutely gorgeous :).

  • @WendyOMGWar I can't really pick one! I love both equally. The Brow Wiz is more precise and a more "firm" pencil. LM's is slightly waxy but has excellent pigmentation! I think LM's is more cost-effective, though - not much product comes with the Brow Wiz. I'm glad it helped you! I love cat eyes or even little flicks because they really help to elongate my eye shape =)

  • @RAEview Thanks! Haha thats a mini review for me =). But anyways i really did love this tutorial :).

  • @WendyOMGWar haha I guess you could say so. Aww, I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for watching!

  • No problem :) The fact that you're Korean caught my attention too! lol

  • @JennyPaik LOL Yes, 100% =) I usually get hapa or Chinese but yay for Korean pride! hehe

  • @RAEview haha yeah! I'm korean too! thats another reason why I like watching Holly's videos too! haha

  • @JennyPaik I figured you were, since Paik is a strictly Korean last name LOL And Holly is beautiful =)

  • @RAEview @RAEview lol well, I added your facebook fan page! And asked a question, but I'll just ask now. :) What do you think about the Bobbi brown loose finishing powder you used in your 'dramatic smokey eye' video? I'm thinking about purchasing it soon if you think it's really good! I've been looking for a new finishing powder, and I'm considering the Bobbi brown one after I watched your video :)

  • @JennyPaik Ah, yes, it's better to ask me questions here. The BB Sheer Loose Powder is one of the best. It's nowhere near as fine as my La Mer but it's the most effective for those with oily T-Zones and helps your foundation last and last. The pale yellow is really excellent if you have any red acne or if you have have broken capillaries along the cheek area, like me =)

  • @RAEview great! haha I'll deff check it out when I go shopping this weekend! Thanks Rae! :) But yeah, it won't make my foundation look too cakey right? I was also reviewing your Laura Mercier creme foundation, but summer is coming shortly! So do you suggest any other liquid foundations for full coverage that won't make my skin look cakey!?

  • @JennyPaik Hmm...it's hard to find a true full coverage liquid foundation that's appropriate for summer. If you have dry skin, you could use the LM Silk Creme but otherwise, I would suggest Guerlain Parure Extreme. It's a little hard to find but Sephora does carry it online!

  • @RAEview perfect. I'll give them a try :) But, what exactly is the difference between a setting powder, and a translucent powder?

  • @JennyPaik Translucent powders are setting powders! They both set foundation but translucent powders are supposed to work for everyone, though we know that's not always the case =)

  • @RAEview oh my gosh, haha alright! so you mentioned that you liked your la mer powder a lot more than the bb powder? which powder do you have of the la mer?

  • @JennyPaik I like the way my La Mer powder FEELS, since it's so much silkier. But it can't beat the Bobbi Brown in the effectiveness department. La Mer only makes one loose powder and it's just called "The Powder" LOL But for the sake of practicality, if you have an oily T-zone or oily skin - go with the BB!

  • Hey Rae :) just started watching and subscribed to your channel. I saw on another video that you commented and said that you had "double eyelid" surgery done. Could you maybe make a video to talk about the procedure, the good, the bad and maybe a pic of how your eyes were before? I'm considering doing it too but i don't know alot about it. If you could do a video, or just reply to this that would be great :) keep up the great tuts :D

  • @kikobunny0102 I won't have time to make a video but I will post a blog entry soon! There's too much information to type out as comments so just check my blog =) I posted the address on your channel page!

  • @RAEview thanks so much rae!!! :D you so helpful and so wonderful that you willing to share your experience :) <3

  • @kikobunny0102 Not a problem!!

  • I found your page through Holly's latest video! I'm so glad I did! You're sooooooooooo cute. :)

  • @JennyPaik That's great! I love Holly; she's the greatest! Thank you so much for giving me a chance and watching my videos =)

  • @TheQuintin123456 Probably because they're saving the best for last ;)

  • My mistake I thought they were dark brown/black and most people wear like green or blue contacts, but like you said its the lighting (: well your gorgeous anyways <3

  • @iilovemakeupp No worries! I fixed my lighting so it should show up a little better now =) haha I can pull off dark green but blue definitely looks silly on me! But thank you very much hehe

  • wait what color are your eyes ? why do you wear dark brown contacts ? dont mean to sound rude but im just curious (:

  • @iilovemakeupp They look dark brown on camera but they're actually light brown. And I wear them for the same reason any of us wear jewelry or make-up! It's not a necessity but it spices up an ordinary look!

  • @dumdumpeachy Yay! I hope you like it as much as I do =)

  • Just wondering, what's your MAC foundation shade?

  • @gseng888 I don't use any MAC foundations but I believe I'm NC 23 or so!

  • I love this look! your so pretty :)

also, i was wondering, can you by collection stuff like the liberty of london at regular mac stores? or do i have to go to a mac pro?

sorry, i know i'm very ignorant. haha, i'm not familiar with mac yet

  • @ajovieproduction No, no worries. You can buy the entire collection at a Nordstrom's or Macy's MAC counter ;)

  • I've watched this video countless times omg! So pretty! I actually got Birds & Berries because of you. Seeing Holly's comment reminded me I have her to thank for showing me a link to your channel. Now I'm hooked! I would love it if you could enter me in your contest coz Ever Hip is sold out! Thanks Rae :)

  • @siren721 Awesome! I hope you try the look. When I'm explaining the process, the steps seem to appear much more time consuming when it is actually a really simple and quick look to achieve! And you are very welcome to enter the contest; just post a comment under the Giveaway video =)

  • thats true but wen i add a lil of the lipstick it doesnt make much of a difference and wen i added a lot it made my lips look pale! lol i tried so many different ways but nothing worked :( lol but the collection looks great on u!

  • @Dormyful Aww, I'm sorry to hear that. But thank you very much! Good luck finding that perfect lipstick..it's always a process of trial and error =)

  • pretty : )

  • @hollyannaeree Tehehe =) Thank you, Miss Holly!

  • beautiful look! what is the supposed to be the difference between a beauty powder and a blush? I feel like everyone always uses it as a blush!

  • @judes106 Most people use it as a blush because it is packaged like a blush. But it's multi-use product! You can use it as an eyeshadow, blusher, highlighter, or all over-face color!

  • where do you get the money from?

buying big brands is like a novelty to me!

    lol

  • @TheKazAran I work...A LOT.

  • @RAEview lol

    cool

i was thinking you had to be rich to go to colledge and get that much money!

  • @TheKazAran My parents are wealthy but I am not. I'm in college on a full scholarship and I work to support myself financially =)

  • Hi Rae, Thanks for re-creating the look for us. Your choice of colour combinations is perfect as I find I'm still not too comfortable with blue on my lids (I'm a neutral girl!!). Still very wearable for daytime...Thanks again!

  • @45hugs Yes, it does take some time getting used to. But I'm sure you'll be comfortable enough to experiment with color soon! Good luck and thank you very much for watching =)

  • Hey I just suscribed to your channel. You are awsome! I love how you explain so well the steps to apply make up as well as the angles you take with your camera. Excellent guru! It really is useful for people like me who are a bit too clumsy on the process of applying make up! :)

  • @galy1979 I do my best! Thank you very much for such wonderful compliments; it makes me so happy and satisfied to hear that my tutorials are really helping you! =)

  • i bought the lipsticks but they didnt look good on me :( i have to go return them but i keep forgetting lol. nice vid! pls check out my vid too!

  • @Dormyful You can always apply less for a more sheer effect or layer different glosses on top =)

  • are you korean??

  • @iwuvgatorade Yes, I am!

  • thanks for putting this up!

  • @mskatlai You're welcome!

  • love how you paired the dramatic eyes with soft nude-coral lips :) beautiful look. i can't wait to experiment with the birds & berries shadow!

  • @missrockbunnie Why, thank you very much =) Have fun and good luck!

  • so pretty ^^

  • @niceangel423 That's very sweet; thanks so much!

  • Beautiful look!!! Thanks so much for doing the Liberty of London tutorial. I didn't end up buying the birds and berry shadow because I was a bit intimidated, but this was very helpful in making me see how to use it! Thanks!!

  • @yettabBE Yes, it's a really versatile shadow. Maybe you'll go back and pick it up before it's gone ;)

  • oooohh........how pretttttyyyyy......... :-)

  • @MsUnbreakable7 Aww, thank you!!

  • You are really pretty. Are you familiar with korean celebrities? You remind me of Park Han Byul.

Great videos btw! I love them!

  • @EndlessMilkyWay I wish I was more familiar but my Korean is weak. I can only speak to my grandmother LOL But thank you very much!

  • So pretty! You look stunning!

  • @MsSarahChristina Thank you very much! ;)

  • youre so pretty :)

  • @itsohbaby Thank you; that's very sweet!

  • you are so gorgeous in this look ! <3333

  • @femmemy Thank youuu =)

  • you are so pretty!!! thanks for your videos!

Can you make a video on how to reduce the puffyness of your eyes? and how to reduce the puffyness wth eye shadow? because when I put on eyeshadow, my eyes always look puffy. thanks

  • @beautypoplove Thank you very much! Hmm, I never have puffy eyes unless I am crying. Just avoid shadows with red and purple undertones. Pinks especially can be tricky. And make sure you always apply a shadow base!

  • Beautiful! Not a color combo I would ever thought would work for me but now I would try it bc if your video! It looks chic and sophisticated on you!

  • @kristeen09 It's flattering for all eye colors and skin tones, actually! It was a nice surprise. And the nice thing about Birds and Berries is that you can wear it sheer and it looks more grey-silver than blue or green!

  • can you do a look that would be good for prom? :D

  • @sylchaii Yes, I have received that request and I will be posting it sometime next week!

  • can we see your makeup collection/storage? :)

  • @fierydancer Within the next two months, yes! I need to reorganize my collection and set-up so once that's complete, I will film a video =)

  • @cho327 Thank you, thank you ;)

  • @ilovemascara310 I'm glad to hear you like them!

  • Great tutorial!!! :) Thanks!!!

  • @iAMminky3 You're very welcome!

  • please do a video about your favourite makeup products (: love you(L)

  • @nicolebaba89 Yes, I'll be uploading my top 5 glosses and top 5 lipsticks videos soon!

  • Great tutorial. I enjoy it so much... the Ever Hip lipstick is so pretty....by the way...you don't like that Peachstock of the London collection? I think it's a really pretty nude color too

  • @Timeless01000 Peachstock was nice but it's actually a permanent pro color so I only picked up Ever Hip! And thank you for watching ;)

  • @RAEview Sorry about my ignorance does that means they will have peachstock all season long now and not limited edition?

  • @Timeless01000 If you visit a Pro store, not a counter, it will be available all year round =)

  • @RAEview ahhh sad...there are no mac pro store near my place...so it's like a limited edition for me :(

  • i love how the blue eyes and the corally lips complement each other so well!! thanx so much for sharing!! now i have to go check out that eyeshadow... soo pretty!! and thanx for showing a great way to do the cat liner!! i'll have to try that way out... i love a good cat eye!! ;-)

  • @michellybelly24 I must agree they are a great combination. Thank you for the lovely compliments and I'm happy to hear you're going to give it a go! Good luck =)

  • You look beautiful! I went to my Mac counter yesterday and bought a few things from this collection, but the packaging still bugs me. Wish they'd have stopped at the flowers and not included the pigeons. Love Chinchillas, they are so adorable. I had to babysit one once, while the owner was away. :)

  • @sleepy484 LOL Yes, the pigeons aren't too cute but I suppose they tie the whole look together. And our chinchilla is very cute, though he's feisty! He's got personality =)

  • Really beautiful look...thanks for sharing!! I now need to buy every single item you mentioned when the collection comes out in the UK as I love them all :)

  • @classyclio They really are wonderful products. I'm not a huge MAC fan myself but these have impressed me!

  • oh, the color is so lovely. Cant wait till it release in my country <3

  • @nlngstar Indeed! I know it's hard to wait but it will be worth itt!

  • LOVE - will definately be handing down to my MAC counter when the collection is released here and re-do this look.

  • @cutecubcub Awesome! Have fun =)

  • oh gosh! this is such a pretty look! i like that it's not overly girly and very soft looking. i know you mentioned that you have dry lips..what do u use to keep ur lips from peeling?

  • @femmefataleartemis Recently, I've been using Chanel Hydramax Lip Balm. I'm going to show it in my March Madness Haul Part 2. EVERYTHING makes my lips peel but this balm is a tonic in a tub ;)

  • Your tutorials are fun to watch! ^_^ I am learning alot. BTW are you using a MAC laptop to edit your videos and record them?

  • @XxLangDuxX Thanks =) Yes, I own a 15" Pro and I use Final Cut Studio to edit!

  • beautiful!!! ^^

  • Thank you!!
