You are so right. My cat, Lhasa, is named after the capitol city of Tibet where the Dalai Lhama (called, the living God by Tibetans) used to live...and her mom is named Tara,( mother of Buddha).

The two are always ordering me around, "Where's my food...rub my tummy...scratch my ears...how dare you eat before I do...what, you are going out on a date...you stay home and play.

I haven't been out on a date for almost nine years now just so that I can keep the Gods are happy.

I was raised by nuns and as an adult the Dalai Lama and his monks stayed at my home for 3 weeks. Many Tibetan nuns who visited L.A. stayed on our estate. They're always laughing and smiling...and the Dalai Lama is one of the happiest persons I know.
