Hey, I need a little help, what is the episode in which Duncan mades sword kata with a kimono?, in this video it's seen in for example: 0:40-0:44, 1:09-1:12 or 1:53-1:55
The thing I don't understand is, I know where Duncan got his sword from but, how is it that Connor's sword looks almost exactly the same? Wasn't Duncan's teacher's sword, one of a kind? I don't know..just confused on some things when it comes to Connor and Duncan.
@grimsdyke Connor uses Ramirez's sword, that was forged by masamune in some year BC. Duncan uses Hideo Koto's sword, that was probable forged in 18th century. They look like because I suppose it was better for the series to give both characters more things in common, but they are totally different swords.

Re-make? Why? Doesn't anyone have an original ideas? Remakes are horrible and completely ruin what was a good story, leave it alone and start something fresh, quit taking the easy road and just remaking what was already made using someone elses story. It is currently the "L" generation (LAZY)

In "The Gathering" Season 1 Episode 1 Connor's sword looks like Connor's sword ivory dragon head pommel open mouth edge-side chin draw. Not sure what 1st episode your refering to, certainly not the opening fight scene at Duncan's house/shop.
@jo2lianhua connor didnt have a samurai for a teacher, he had a spaniard/egyptian as a teacher who in the past lived in japan & a close friend made it 4 him, & connor got it from his teacher after he was killed
He lived and survived for 400 years knowing when it's time to lay down his sword to be at peace with himself. The thought of killing for 4 centuries in order to be the last immortal was unbearable for him to handle. To be the last is to lose people that you care about in the process, Tessa, Richie, Connor, and Joe to be the one. I admire Duncan after Connor, because his reason of living is that he fight to survive because he value life and the lives of all that is good.
Adrian Paul never should have stopped the series. It ended right when I started getting into it, the series got better every year. I even liked it more than the movies, especially the last 3 years.
I was so pissed when the Guardian of the source of the immortals broke Duncan's sword, then used it to kill Joe Dawson. But it was very honorable of Duncan to bury it with Joe. I just hope in the next film he's using Connor's sword. Passed from master to student through the generations, as it was from Ramirez to Connor.
Yeah tell, me about it, but that really depend if there is a next one??, Even though it was announced before this one, I still think it's maybe 3/4 years away..if they still make one.
I wish they'd just forget about the last movie like they've forgotten about the second Highlander film because they were just awful.
I always thought there should be some great final story about the last few Immortals on Earth, the final stages of the battle for the Prize. And I would just want to see all the characters from the series in it including Joe as the head of Watchers. They should also bring back the Hunters.
But from what I heard they are doing a Highlander remake instead. :(
I also heard about the remake. I think they honestly shouldn't. They should concentrate on the events that happened before the SOURCE and after ENDGAME, because the SOURCE takes place in the future. If they really have to do a remake, and start over, they should tell it from Duncan's perspective as a new immortal. Because not only is he the 1, but most of his earliest years have not been seen, just talked about. Even though the series gave us TONS of history, they could always do more.
They should deffinately NOT do a remake about Connor MacLeod. Especially with some new actor. Even if done well, it would just kill all credibility. The next HIGHLANDER movie SHOULD be about Duncan MacLeod starring Adrian Paul. They should just keep it going, Adrian is in great shape, its not broken.
If they do continue after SOURCE, it should be about how MacLeod's son grows up to be the Anti-Christ or pure evil from all the energy he was created. This would show the consequence of immortals having children, as well as how, immortals have little choice in who there victims are. Like Duncan killing his Master Connor, or Richie his Student. Making this his greatest battle yet, sacrificing for a better tommorow. While most importantly reinstating the fact, in the end, there can be only 1.

lichaem69 is right. In The Gathering, Connor is using a different katana. There is no design on it. Just watch the episode and pause a lot.
