I just got introduced to her through a video by Paul Brady with the song called "Stories", recorded at Doyles pub in Dublin. Someone made the comment he loved her singing this too, so I searched for it, great version too and than i found this song. She is realy a great singer.

Em, Am, C and D for the verse, and Em Am G and D for the chorus, and instead of struming pick it. the bit where the guitar goes down is Em 9,8,7,6,5. hope it helps

Thanks for posting this. Maura O'Connell has a beautiful, expressive voice and a knack for finding great songs by great singer-songwriters like Paul Brady and Cheryl Wheeler. Summerfly is an early Cheryl Wheeler song. She, too, has a marvelous voice and great stage presence as well. Check her out.

I heard her first on the Mike Murphy morning radio singing "Maggie" I was enthralled and still am. Her voice is superb. Does anyone have a vid of Maura singing "Maggie" and "The Isle of Malachy" please.
