He jumped to get over a would-be tackler. When you're in the heat of the game, you do whatever the fuck it takes to score and help your team. Judging from the angle his head was facing, he probably only saw the guy right in front of him. There's no way he knew he was about to be blindsided and flipped.

my wife who is an ICU nurse said he immediately started uncontrollable "posturing" indicating a Spinal cord injury. If he has a previous concussion, he could have Re-injured the Residual..... Either way,We will pray for his recovery. He should not play the rest of the season IMO..But Evil Knieval never gave up either...

That was a horrible landing and looked way worse than a concussion, but yes it is very dangerous. Two in one week. Just a concussion? It's a relief that he isn't paralyzed, but there isn't any 'just' a concussion. Some people have all sorts of problems stemming from a concussion. Besides, he had a concussion from last week's game. Two concussions in a week for a young guy is very dangerous.
