This video has inspired me to finally go and buy a kayak, this to me looks like heaven, time to enjoy with no one around, just you and nature, its what its all about.
@gozzygosden Glad for you,we have one of the best varied coastlines in the WORLD for sea kayaking,and other watersports e.g. Sailing.all you need is settled weather,and you can get it all year round.When I used to go Diving,the Seas generally are very poor over the winter months,for underwater visibility,but Kayaking,it doesn't matter,I've known it to blow a Gale on a Sunday,and by a Tuesday flat calm.Hopefully see you out there........
@espressocrime Patience is the thing here,trying to avoid eye contact,and,for some strange reason I always talk to them as if they were a friendly Dog!! well the friendly ones.Also if you visit somewhwere like Puffin Island,they come into contact with people quite often,so seem used to it.The flexible seal was one of my favourites,from the start he was totally relaxed,and I could have stayed there for hours I'm sure.

@GBPaddling Your filming was quite intrusive of the marine environment. A negative espcially when there pups at the birthing spots. But very good close up shots. well done
Our Craig's favourite part of any Kayak video I've ever done!! he still laughs yet.That seal was really wierd,and it's only recently that I've thought that he must be blind or very visually impaired.When we finally get to Anglesey I'll show you some of these places - all fabulous places!
@weirwolfarroo Yes,that's what happens in most cases,the first seal,is above the High Water mark,you can clearly see it,but them claws they possess are awesome,I have dived with them and close up they are quite something,bet they could tear you open with them if they wanted,and using them to climb up rocks wouldn't be the slightest problem.Also they can leap out of the water,like a polaris missile,in Eyemouth Harbour they dangle Mackerel by line to them encouraging tnem to leap,and leap they do
beautifull video made kids happy to see the seals has one of my kids safe one in bude last year it was a babe male just 2 weeks old ans its mum was wash up a mile away down the beach at Widemouth Bay
@dave55853 Glad you all like it,you would have to have a heart of Clay,not to like Seals in all their stages of development.I've seen some great Marine life whilst Kayaking and Diving,but the Seals are still a treat for me,and can be very engaging, endearing and amusing!
@dutchcoastalkajakker Can't go wrong with a Mother in Law joke! even if like me you get on well with her!Also ex parnter joke would fit,be it a "He" or a "She" I know I'd fit the bill,especially with the snoring,and the belly ha ha
If 4:29 was at Rhoscolyn then we filmed the same seal last time we went. Features in my 4 mile bridge video.

Best Seal footage ive ever seen from a kayak,even if some of it was verging on harassment.Seals here are alot less sociable,shy.
