Just because a PC with a 2.8 is more, the mini can still be quicker, its about how well it uses it, and the mini uses OSX, which makes stuff run quicker and easier, and is fine tuned only to the processors macs have implemented in the past, while the pc would be running vista? or XP, and thus slowed down to a crawl by everything :)

i have used the panormaic photo thingey it works great except the line on top and botom isn't stright but that's impossible unless you take like 5 pictures of each thing and it has to be on a tripod if u want it str8

It's not really that hard. Just take some pictures (they don't even have to be in order), open the app, click a button, crop a little, done!

That's how PS does it, this program may even crop for you, I don't know.

I would love to get familiar with Mac OSX, but I'm required to buy overpriced Mac hardware. I simply can't afford that and I won't. For the price of a "good" Mac Pro, I can build 2 or 3 comparatively configured PCs.

Also, I agree that MS has left much to be desired simply in stability over the years. Vista is a complete failure. However, I installed the leaked Win7 pre-beta and it ran on my PC better than Vista ever did even with SP1.

So, the storage can be increased. Yay. How scalable is the graphics? Can I put in a GTX 280 or an HD4870X2? Maybe I only need a GTX 260 or a 4850. Will the Mini take those? Nope, sure doesn't. What about X-Fi sound? I enjoy gaming too so that is important to me.

And just a few clicks of a mouse? Try many more clicks of a mouse + entering my CC info several times + waiting to receive packages at different times from different retailers. It's a LOT more hassle.
