I see a similar thing at around 5.00 low over the southern horizon. I was playing about with my google star map app, pointing it at stars to see their names, but this was not showing up. I don't know what the images are but I can tell you that their luminosity is not natural in fact the luminosity on the first object is reflected light from a tangent that is nearby the other ones seem to be the same while the last image did create it's own light but it seems that the first are actually objects could be a UFO or could be a simple prob I would have to see it with my eye to give you a better response to the objects themselves. Lovely picture though.

I saw it tonight at 10:00 PM (Jan.2,2011) from Vancouver, BC. Very intense flickering and very vibrant colors. It's south-south east and 2 & 3/4 hands above the horizon. What the hell is that? Planets tend not to twinkle, because they are not point like like stars seen from Earth.
Planets follow this line where all other planets follow including the Moon and Sun. It is called the ecliptic so if you find the sun and Moon then you know the line where ll planets should occur. Planets will not be found near the polar start but very close to the path of the sun.

11 august 02 am means Jupiter at -2.76 magnitude very bright indeed.
You were also looking a Uranus which was very close to Jupiter but you cannot see it with your eyes. Depending where you live on this planet, it was about SE seen from the Northern hemisphere.

Would you mind telling us where your telescope/camera was pointing exactly, when you got the image of all the 'red stars' that look a little like jpeg processing artefacts?? Because, of course, we will be able to match that area to star mapping. I'm not aware of any area containing such a huge number of remarkably similar red stars...
Also, please tell us what telephoto lens it was, so we can verify the size of your 'object', after all, we know what happens when things are out of focus..
The reason why the Governments don't tell us that UFO's and Aliens exsist is because they know that people will start to shit their pants and then all hell will break loss. Just static images, no camera pan, no reference, no video source...a real ufo should move very different to all things in the sky, like in the assumed real ufo footages.
Sorry, I don't own a video camera so of course the images are static. In some of the pics there are stars in the background, if that makes it more credible for you. I just took photographs of what I was seeing and shared them here.
Well, for starters, I know where Venus is and what it looks like... with and without my telescope. Then there's the fact that Venus was visible in the sky at the time I took the photos. Stars "twinkle", planets (like Venus) don't and the object in question spins rapidly and visibly changes colors. @monesmartgirl, I saw what I thought to be the landing lights or running light of an airliner one night, It made no sound though, Was moving a little faster than a jet, And was solid light, The color of a light bulb. It was large because it was about 10,000ft or better. And was incredible. Heading east north east about 500 mph I guess. Very neat to see.

Yes, I've explored that site. This thing is NOT a star however, so why call it one? Nothing I found on that site convinced me that it is associated with MAITREYAS (whoever or whatever it/they are)

I know there were a few videos of this thing that were posted from the UK but I don't recall the dates. I first noticed it at the end of December 2008... around the same time videos of it started showing up here in large numbers from all over the world! first seen this in brum on the 7th of march tis year and was visible for about 3 or 4 day's..got 2 pics taken on my cam phone id like you to see, taken 1 after the other with no more than 3 second gap between shot's, quite intruiging...
I live on the outskirts of Las Vegas between Nellis AFB and Area 51. This becomes visible around 8pm PST... MOST nights! It's not there sometimes which causes me to doubt that it's a quasar.

I am from Bratislava, Slovakia, Europe. Together with my friend we were observing this very same object trough telescope some 7 days ago. It was flashing with all colors af a rainbow, red, green, blue, yellow, it surely changed its color every second,may be the frequency was even higher. Its been now a third or fourth night in a row this object is not visible anymore. That evening we started watching it, it was so bright. It instantly dragged my attention. The brightest object so far that night.

Mars tends to be reddish, Saturn Yellowish and Venus very white and bright.

haha last night at around 2-2:30 am i saw something like this but it just looked like a bright atr, then i noticed that it was so bright that most the stars around it were barely visible. Then i noticed how close it seemed to be. Kind of freaky :P

11 august 02 am means Jupiter at -2.76 magnitude very bright indeed.
You were also looking a Uranus which was very close to Jupiter but you cannot see it with your eyes. Depending where you live on this planet, it was about SE seen from the Northern hemisphere.

I have many videos of that thing in the sky people always say it's venus , in one second that thing changed color like 12 times unable to see with the naked eye I SLOWED IT DOWN . i am amazed how many UFO you can catch in slow MOTION.

I never claimed that it was a metal ship... only what I knew it WASN'T. It's NOT a nebula, a star (super nova or otherwise), it's certainly NOT Venus and I have much more important things to do than make shit up so people that can't spell can make comments on it.

@shoshanish I am an avid astro-photography and have photographed nearly all supernovas within the 10th magnitude range and this is NOT a supernova. I do not know what it is but if it is real, IF, it is not natural. Please educate yourself at lease with a 9th grade education in astronomy before you come on here and make idiotic claims about what a supernova is. BTW, a Supernova is RED GIANT that has went nova, not just a star. So know your role and shut your mouth, Jabroni.

Would you mind telling us where your telescope/camera was pointing exactly, when you got the image of all the 'red stars' that look a little like jpeg processing artefacts?? Because, of course, we will be able to match that area to star mapping. I'm not aware of any area containing such a huge number of remarkably similar red stars...
Also, please tell us what telephoto lens it was, so we can verify the size of your 'object', after all, we know what happens when things are out of focus..

The reason why the Governments don't tell us that UFO's and Aliens exsist is because they know that people will start to shit their pants and then all hell will break loss. The same thing applies to very large objects that have a high probability rating of colliding with Earth. What the people don't know, won't hurt them...

Just static images, no camera pan, no reference, no video source...a real ufo should move very different to all things in the sky, like in the assumed real ufo footages.

Sorry, I don't own a video camera so of course the images are static. In some of the pics there are stars in the background, if that makes it more credible for you. I just took photographs of what I was seeing and shared them here.

Well, for starters, I know where Venus is and what it looks like... with and without my telescope. Then there's the fact that Venus was visible in the sky at the time I took the photos. Stars "twinkle", planets (like Venus) don't and the object in question spins rapidly and visibly changes colors. That's how I know that what I photographed is neither Venus, (or any other planet) a star, a quasar, a supernova or a balloon. Your turn.

@monesmartgirl, I saw what I thought to be the landing lights or running light of an airliner one night, It made no sound though, Was moving a little faster than a jet, And was solid light, The color of a light bulb. It was large because it was about 10,000ft or better. And was incredible. Heading east north east about 500 mph I guess. Very neat to see.

i filmed something on jan 7 that apparently has been seen worldwide and that is MAITREYAS STAR...if u go to share internationals site,under star signs there u will see many pics of this object from all over the world - maybe this is,maybe it isnt

Yes, I've explored that site. This thing is NOT a star however, so why call it one? Nothing I found on that site convinced me that it is associated with MAITREYAS (whoever or whatever it/they are)

I know there were a few videos of this thing that were posted from the UK but I don't recall the dates. I first noticed it at the end of December 2008... around the same time videos of it started showing up here in large numbers from all over the world! I don't know why I can still see it and you can't, sorry.

first seen this in brum on the 7th of march tis year and was visible for about 3 or 4 day's..got 2 pics taken on my cam phone id like you to see, taken 1 after the other with no more than 3 second gap between shot's, quite intruiging...

Seriously, does this look like any quasar you've ever seen? I thought you might be correct until I checked what a quasar looks like to the Hubble.
And that still doesn't explain why it's not visible on some clear nights or that last week there were two in the sky but now there's only one!

I live on the outskirts of Las Vegas between Nellis AFB and Area 51. This becomes visible around 8pm PST... MOST nights! It's not there sometimes which causes me to doubt that it's a quasar.

I am from Bratislava, Slovakia, Europe. Together with my friend we were observing this very same object trough telescope some 7 days ago. It was flashing with all colors af a rainbow, red, green, blue, yellow, it surely changed its color every second,may be the frequency was even higher. Its been now a third or fourth night in a row this object is not visible anymore. That evening we started watching it, it was so bright. It instantly dragged my attention. The brightest object so far that night.
